Using this mod, valid game copies, necessary tools, etc., can i load my current Skyrim character, and just walk over/fast travel/teleport/move in-game to Morrowind? Or would i have to create a new save with new characters to play this? What im asking is if this is the mod that will cure my desire to jump the fence and take over a new province(with or without stuff in it), or if this is Morrowind using Skyrim's engine, graphics, etc.
I mean, dont get me wrong, it looks like an epic mod either way, and i admittedly still need to check out Morrowind...i just was left confused by all the research i did, as to whether it was being added like Solstheim in Dragonborn DLC as a new map to travel to(fast travel, take a boat or something to morrowind, or just hike up the hill and down again), or if it was something where i had to play seperately.
(btw i'm not worried about if its on the same timeline, for all i care the citizens of morrowind paved over vvardenfell and made things as good as new and wound up repeating history, with my character being the new hero)
I'd appreciate an answer either way regarding this mod, because I've looked on youtube, several online news articles, several pages of forums, checked the FAQ, and even done a few google searches for the answer to this question. (about 1-1/2 hours worth of looking)
You can use your current character and move to Morrowind. Just bring up the console and type cow_andwrldmorrowind -5 -5
As for the future, it'll probably be a boat ride to Morrowind or something, we're not sure yet. One thing we're sure of is that you'll be able to use your current save and travel between Skyrim and Morrowind.
Now i HAVE to, NO...i am FORCED BY FATE ITSELF to buy morrowind on steam! I already have made skyrim and elsweyr protectorates of my character Nyx, soon i will be able to reign over Solstheim, MORROWIND, and in a few months maybe EVEN CYRODIIL, thank you sir for enabling me to further my plans for GLOBAL DOMINATION BUAHAHAHA!
but seriously, thank you not only for answering my question, as well as my wildest hopes dreams and amibitions(with open world gaming at least) but for enabling my character to take over 4 provinces and make the Thalmor and Imperials go the way of the Dwemer! Modding imo is the one of the best features of Elder Scrolls games! :D
