Amazing, inspiring work, guys. One question:
I'm running the latest master and have just installed Shadow's new LOD. They work great. The esp for Morrowind Grass makes Skyrim crash as soon as the title screen appears, though. Is it incompatible with the new master?
Cheers.
The new grass mod wasn't made yet.
Cheers for the swift reply. I thought as much. Shame. I take it it's not that easy to adapt the old one, either. I can do some stuff in the CK but I'm no expert. Would love to help out if I could.
What I'm really after is the finest-looking version of Skywind currently available so I can feature it on my website. Am I right in thinking I should really be looking for the older master instead?
Well, currently yes the old master LOOKS a little bit better, the new one has a couple of missing textures, and no grass. However under the hood the new one is WAY better. Actually, the new one is also better for interior shots, because it has working lighting. Do you have the old Morrowind_sk.esm LOD download? Because if not you better just go with the new one (because I already took down that link). If you do, then maybe you could use the old for exteriors, and the new for Interiors.
I downloaded all the necessary files about three days ago, and that included the old LOD download. While I completely understand why you've had to take a few steps back to move forward - I must have read the entire forum while trying to figure this all out! - and are probably loathe to dig it up, I'd greatly appreciate if someone could send me/upload what they consider the best of the old masters, just for exteriors. I've spent a long time working with Skyrim and the ENB series and would love to just take a look around. But yeah, grass is a pretty big component.
I also happen to be writing about this for PC Gamer at the moment, so the more I can experience of Skywind old and new the better.
Ah, I see that one of the
Ah, I see that one of the dependencies is Morrowind_sk.esm. Guess that answers my question. Is there a compatible version?
