Skywind and my concern about the Dragonborn (Solstheim) DLC

Submitted by Tan on

The new Dragonborn DLC will come out for Skyrim on PC in early 2012, I expect this to be as early as January, or as late as February.

From all the screenshots and videos about the xbox version, there are many "Skyrim Level" Morrowind models, much more detailed than the ones from TES:III, face-shaped houses, Telvanni houses, etc.

So I'm wondering, will these be used in Skywind?

And if not in the main version, if it will be in an optional patch that replaces models, simply by requiring the Dragonborn.esm?

Thanks.

May be yes, may be no) We take only the best of all the works by modmakers and bethesda)

I personally will probably go through and match up Skywind models with new Dragonborn ones, for my own use. So I'll do a patch and release it. It won't be anything official as Skywind at the moment doesn't require any DLCs.

We are definitely making it require Dragonborn.  There is just too much good stuff to not make it required.  There is also going to be stuff that requires Dawnguard too, but that may or may not remain as a separate plugin.  We'll see about that in a few weeks.

too bad there are no ash storms!

Um, I'm actually pretty sure that Dragonborn comes with Ash storms that we can make use of.  Unless of course TES V Edit is lying to me.....

really? that add the same feeling of dread of existing ash storms?
