OK, so I was extremely excited when I got this mod to work. It is very awesome and fun. I played for a bit, turned it off and left. I came back today, and I cant load any saves without crashing. I thought it was just those saves, made new ones but loading will not work. Does anyone know why this happens. I tried messing around with going offline on steam, turning off syncing, moving the load order around (with OBMM) and numerous other things, yet it will not work. Please post back if you have any answers, I really want to get back into Morroblivion and play!
so, I have to move my steam
so, I have to move my steam out of program files? why? I don't see the reason why it doesn't work in program files, and it clearly doesn't say -.- also, if i do move it out will this for sure fix my crashing problem?
No need to move steam
Just read the full install thread and proceed carefully. If your connection can handle it grab the one big download (over 2.5 gigs) and copy those files to c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Oblivion\data then run the installer for the esm.
If you have to do it in bits, follow the install thread very carefully and remember c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Oblivion is your install directory.
Your must activate the steam community in game for obse to work, but other than that leaving oblivion where it was shouldn't be a problem. That's how I got my copy running anyway.
