Hey guys, I was wondering if it is possible to make the entire Skywind mod a simple .bsa and .esp file? Maybe the installer could act like a compressor and when it locates the files from Morrowind and the expansions it could turn them into Skywind.bsa and Skywind.esp. It would be a large file, I know- especially with the added textures etcetera.
Due to size,we will proberly
Due to size,we will proberly have a skywind_textures.bsa and also skywind_meshes.bsa and maybe one for scripts, but I guess they could be all put into one.
I think tomorrow or the next
I think tomorrow or the next day around 3000 files are going to be converted. For once our interiors won't look like shit.
Well, first of all, I don't
Well, first of all, I don't get where people are getting that we are actually pulling files from Morrowind. The Morrowind requirement exists purely to protect Bethesda's copyrights. We don't actually use any of the files from your installation.
Since that's out of the way, I can say that I planned on creating about 3 different .bsas for the different files, but that will definitely be awhile away. There are just too many changes at this moment in time.
There is no way all of the files would fit into one .bsa though. Our textures, even with all of the unused ones removed, take up more room than vanilla Skyrim, or even Skyrim with the texture optimizer version of the HD DLC.
Mehh,As the interior textures
Mehh,As the interior textures are being updated, should I hold off on the navmeshing,or is it ok to continue.?
No, you're good to continue
No, you're good to continue Ironman. Nothing that is happening now should affect navmesh.

That's the plan! but we're
That's the plan! but we're still organizing/converting our meshes/textures.
