Two Problems

Submitted by CRACK_2 on
Hello! i have 2 problems with oblivion when i am in Morrowind: 1: Problem with the collision of the objects, the collision produced me low fps :S i normaly have 15 fps (is not much but is normal for me :D) but in morroblivion (more exactly in Caldera) i have 4 and 8 FPS!! is strange... is the first time something like this happens to me... and i know its the collision because when i use the comand "TCL" i have 15 20 fps again! It can be my procesator? its a Dual Core 2.66 GHRz, or my RAM? (i have 2 GB of RAM memmory) Or maybe its my video card, in that case i am going to wait to the end of the year because in that time i buy an GTX470 or an ATI 5580 (or something, right now i dont remember the number haha) Actualli i have an GeForce 9500 with 512MB. 2: I can go to caldera if LOD is activated! because the game CRASH... i desactivated ALL of my mods in oblivion but nothing... in my morroblivion installation i have this mods:
Mod 0=Better Clothes_v1.1.esp Mod 1=LeFemmArmor.esp Mod 2=LOCH_Felsaad_Revamped.esp Mod 3=Another Balmora 1.2.esp Mod 4=Unique Banners and Signs.esp Mod 5=Vality's Bitter Coast Addon.esp Mod 6=Vality's Ascadian Isles Addon.esp Mod 7=dxm_metallic_signs.esp Mod 8=Clean Better Caldera.esp Mod 9=Book Jackets - Morrowind.esp
I dont know if Better Caldera is the problem because when i go to the city (without LOD) i didnt have any problem :S Thanks for reading :D EDIT: I dont know if this can cause a problem but... i desactivate the replacers of the statics trees and rocks, because in morrowind i have better and i dont loke Oblvion trees in Morrowind... Morrowind have his own folliage (mmm the word is right?)

Morroblivion is fairly heavy on computers because it is not well optimised ... especially with LOD on. This is mainly because distant buildings and trees use the same polygons and textures as near objects {unlike oblivion where distant objects use low-res models}. So ... if your PC has a hard time running Oblivion itself{15 fps} then it is fairly understandable that it has even more difficulty running morroblivion. Try turning off distant trees and distant buildings {you can keep distant land}.
