I just thought of something that I think could work. Do you guys know the Dawnguard expansion and how it has Snow Elf architexture? Well the white stone bricks that are used could fit really well with Ayleid ruins and maybe even the Imperial city. Just a though :) Although in the screen shot the lighting is very cold so we'll have to see how they look with the Cyrodiil climate.

Already tried. The textures don't fit very well and for some reason they're darker.[External image][External image]Personally I think the original (or quarrl's)texture look a lot better and fit cyrodiil better.

I didn't bother making a full tileset out of it

Hmm... They look better together then apart:[External image]

But who is really gonna overhaul cyrodiil to add these extra piece when they could just use the originals

Ah, I see what you mean. If I am not mistaken is it possible to edit textures in photoshop? Maybe that way it might look good.

Yeah, you can change texture with basically any image edit program that has a dds plugin, but what I was saying is that it's not worth it considering that we have default skyrim resolution texture right now and they look a lot more like Oblivion then the snow elf stuff. Why make another one when we're fine right now.

We have so many Oblivion texture mods, and the vanilla Oblivion textures are already of such a quality, that we really don't need to make any of our own replacements I think.  But thanks for the offer.

Yeah you guys are right, so are we settling for Qarl's? Because honestly some of the conversions I've seen well... the textures just look really low quality.

Qarl's textures look quite good ingame, definitely better than vanilla.  (or at least the landscape and rock ones, since those are the only ones I am using)  Some just might need a little bit of toning down to make them a little less bright.

Yeah I think so too. So do you just do it with Photoshop?

You don't need a dds program. I make my textures with photoshop CS6 then I just used an app I have simply called "dds converter"
