Would You Please Do the Cliffracer?
Eloth, Cliffracers are in my current file and they cause CTD's. I'm going to have to turn them into rats to preserve the Leveled Lists Yoshimo spent time building. Would you please do them next so that I don't have to disable them?

Didin't Realize That
Sorry, I didn't realize they were so difficult. The Scrib will be great.

Silent Scribs
Thanks for making the scribs available to us. They work well but I found one issue. The scribs in MorrowOblivion Creatures 1.2 @ http://morroblivion.com/forums/morroblivion/mods/786 are totally silent. There are no entries in the "Group Sound Properties" column like there are with the other creatures. Is that something you would be able to tell me how to fix or something you could fix in another release?

its pretty easy to implement
its pretty easy to implement ,just open up nifskope and load up idle.kf for instance, and locate the NiTextKeyExtraData located in the bottom of the list. go to Text Keys and increase the Num Text Keys number by one, and click the green icon next to it to refresh the list. then you have to move the End text key one place down, just copy and paste. then in the old end key spot, you add an "Enum: Idle" and use a number between the start and end time.

How Do I Do That?
I was able to follow the instructions until I reached this paragraph and then got totally lost. (I must admit that I am a dungeon maker and quest-coder. I don't know anything about Nifskope. All I have done is a bunch of retexturing work and debugging of other peoples texture paths in Nifskope.) wrote:

Does "one place down" mean one line or one paragraph? How do you copy and paste in Nifskope? The standard right click does not yield a pull-down menu with "cut" or "copy." I can't find a tool or spell that seems like it would cut and paste. How do you add something like "Enum: Idle?" Do you type in words? Cut and paste? Find it on a pull-down menu somewhere? Is the paragraph structure supposed to come out like: NiTextKeyExtraData _____Num Text Keys _________Text Keys _________Text Keys _________Text Keys I am sort of lost.

NiTextKeyExtraData _____Num
^ You are on track ... next you got to copy paste the time value and the string "end" from the middle Text Key to the last one. And finally you need to change the time value of the middle to something less than what it was originally and add the text "Enum:Idle". It should look something like this: You can "type" everything that is needed. Just click on the place and a cursor should show up. Just one more thing ... don't do this with the idle animation ... Idles don't usually have sounds ... attacks do. With the attack anims there should be 4 Time Tags already and you want to make them 5. Personally I am confused ... I think that most if not all of the previous creatures didn't have enum tags added ... yet you didn't have any problems with them? (nixhound, kagouti, cliffracer, ogrim etc.)

I Don't Know How to Use NifSkope
So far, the only creature which I have found that cannot make noises is the Scrib. Knowing that the problem exists, I will have to watch all the others more closely to be sure they are making their sounds. I am a dungeon-maker and quest-coder and don't know anything about NifSkope. All I have used it for is retexturing and debugging the work of other people. It seems like the documentation is largely non-existent or written at a very high level not comprehensible to laymen. I have not been able to find enough clues to figure out how to work the NifSkope interface. I can figure out how to delete blocks but I cannot add them very well and certainly can't add them to the spots I want to add them to. So on the scrib .kf file I am working on my paragraph structure is like this: NiTextKeyExtraData _____Num Text Keys _________Text Keys _________Text Keys I want it to look like this: NiTextKeyExtraData _____Num Text Keys _________Text Keys _________Text Keys _________Text Keys but I cannot find a way to add another "_________Text Keys." How do you add blocks? How do you move blocks? How do you indent blocks? How do you cut and paste?

@Yoshimo: If you want then
@Yoshimo: If you want then I'll do it for you on this Sunday. Ofcourse the problem is that there is no guarantee that it will work ... as I said all of my creatures at least did NOT have these tags added and you seem to not have had any problem with adding sound to them. Anyways you do not need to add or copy blocks. Use this picture for reference. What you need to do is increase the "Value" of Num Text Keys by 1. To do this click on the number in this line (originally it will be 2) and some arrow buttons should appear ... press the upper arrow to make it 3. Now go to the very next line ... named "Text keys" Right click on this and select Update Array. This should add another text key. I wish I could add in some more illustrations but I am out of time .... I will do it for you and upload the files on sunday.

Figuring it Out
@ Hashmi1 That last set of instructions made sense to me. I have successfully added a couple of sounds to the scribs. I will go through the whole .kf file list and add sounds where needed. I don't understand the system, but as long as it is working, I don't need to. Your creatures don't seem to have anything listed in the "Group Sound Properties" column but they make sounds just fine. Weird. Thanks a lot for the help!

Thank You Eloth!
No Errors when previewing in the Creature Dialog Window. Thank You. I do not see anything extra that I can do with sounds. All that can be selected have been selected. Is there something I'm missing here?

no, you hear the difference
no, you hear the difference ingame, if the scrib has been assigned all the sounds it need in cs(before this fix you couldnt hear the sounds ingame even if you had done everything right in the cs)
