Thank you for all the creatures you have been making! I am hoping to assemble all the creatures from Morroind into my Master Project. These will go a LONG way toward making Morroblivion a reality...

All the texture paths point to Morrowind .tga files. I can fix that in NifSkope, but the skeleton does not work and the creature looks like it was run over by several trucks or blown up by a bomb. I can't figure out a substitute skeleton to use.

That is really cool that you are making Ascended Sleepers! I think they need a few tweaks though. There is a missing bone in the skeleton and a long pink tentacle with no texture can stretch in a random direction. There are lots of tears in the creature mesh. The death animation does not seem to be working for me. But other than that it is really great to have an Ascended Sleeper. The other four creatures seem to be working just fine. Soon some of this material will be merged into the Morrowind_ob.esm Project file for people to download and play.

Morrowind creature meshs are heavily segmented and 3ds max tends to tear them up ... sometimes making very visible seams. I think it happens because of the autosmooth option in the importer ... it pulls back the edges while smoothing ... though in some cases I've experienced it without auto-smooth as well. Two suggestions: - When you import the morrowind mesh, uncheck the following; - autosmooth mesh - remove illegal vertices Also experiment with the "weld vertices" option. Try turning it off or increasing the value etc. If none of that helps try another morrowind file ... there are two present : ascendedsleeper.nif and xascendedsleeper.nif ... I remember that there was an unavoidable seam in alit.nif and I had to use xalit.nif to fix it.
