1. If you have more than one

2. For detect version i use description field of esm file. Happy promise me, that next esms will have only 0.6.0 (or 0.7.3 or...) in this field. Now this field have a lot of usless text. So i prompt "Unknown version". Next releases will be detected as expected

3. This currentVersion.yml only for demonstration and i not include demo files into distributive. Installer search components (for demonstration for one of available type: encrypted, single file, folder and archive). So, it cant find it, because its not exeists.

Word "copy" - is verb, it shows that this file or folder will be copied for destination folder. Maybe its not clear for users (im not good in things like this), but you can suggest me anything.

I know how to edit the targets in shortcut files, and I've done that, but when I encrypt skywind.esm and attempt to install it, it gives a "checksum mismatched" error

I can confirm his bug.

1. When no Skywind.esm in data folder then you can't install it.

2. When a Skywind.esm in data folder with unknown version you can't update!

NOTE:
When Steam versions are detected it all works as intended,
but when retail versions are detected it does not work as intended.

Are non-steam version exists? Installer said "retail" if cant find skyrim in steam branch of registry. Or you speak about Morrowind retail version?

P.S. Now im at work and havent installed games. In 2-3 hours ill be at home and try to fix this issues.

That's not what I

That's not what I indicated.
Today I had to remove my Windows-User-Account due to some issues.
From that moment the Skywind installer is unable to detect my Steam installations.
Lucky for me it still detects the games as retail versions.

All installer versions from version v0.0.1 up to v0.0.99 are now unable to install or update Skywind.

Is it just me, or after looking at Malgaroth's error report does it seem like the cause of the error is just an extra \data in the filepath?

Retail/Steam issues aside, I honestly cannot make heads or tails of what the context for the installer is.

You need the following to install Skywind 0.6: Complete Skywind Installation Pack, Skywind Update 1, and the latest Skywind Installer.

As far as I can tell, however, the instructions say that you should manually extract the first 2 items directly to your Skyrim folder, while the installer installs Skywind.bsa, Skywind.cmf, and Skywind - Patch.esp

All I want to know is this: Can you use the installer to install the Complete Skywind Installation Pack and subsequent Skywind Updates? I'm using NMM for the CSIP atm.

I currently use a folder via Wyre Smash called SkywindMorroblivion, still sorta shorter then SkyrimMorrowindOblivion, barely.

I have deleted the Skywind.esm and also the other skywind files from my Data folder to test the installer,it is not finding my Morrowind folder,but after pointing it there it finds it,so far so good.

It finds my Skyrim install,no problems there.....BUT!.

Then it gives me a ghosted out INSTALL button,so no way am I going to get the skywind.esm etc installed using this installer.

I am not sure that I should use the installer for another reason too,and that is because every time I run the EXE,my data light on my modem/router starts to show that data is being downloaded and/or uploaded,that should not happen.?

I know it is the exe that starts data to flow to or from my system because as soon as I stop the exe running the data also stops.

EXE files are not allowed by some FTP and other methods of transfer,because they can be the easiest way to imbed viruses into a system.

I am not saying that the installer is collecting or taking data from my system,but if not why does it need to pass data though my router.?
