Morrowind_ob.esm v003-C BETA
There have been some significant issues with v003. I hope that I have finally resolved them. Just to be clear, however, I am definitly posting this as a Beta. This Version Includes: -- Missing Dialog from Morrowind Rebuilt by the Queen of the Ashlands -- Cliffracer Hotfix supplied by Eloth -- Hlaalu Helms have been fixed -- Morrowind/Oblivion Hotfix for compatibility between Morrowind and Oblivion Quests -- Suppressed annoying "Current Events" chatter by NPC's as if Morrowind was a distant place... The Morrowind Main Quest by the Queen of the Ashlands was in Beta when we included it as part of this project. There may be bugs in it, but, unfortunately, Yoshimo has not been able to proceed debugging it because the missing dialog contained MOST of the Quest logic and totally broke everything. The Cliffracer Hotfix removes all Havoc from dead Cliffracers. Their bodies are completely Etherial, and if visiting an area where they had previously been killed, the will appear as if hovering in air. Still, this is better than replacing them with rats. The Cyrodiil Hotfix sets the Priority of the Morrowind Default Quest to 20. This still overrides Town and Beggar dialog, so when visiting towns in Cyrodiil, Morrowind Dialog still comes up. However, this will be overriden in turn by Oblivion Quests. I have played through then entire Anvil Mages' Guild Recommendation Quest with this fix. Suppressing the "Current Events" NPC chatter has the unfortunate side effect of whacking their voiced version if in Cyrodiil. I will probably disable these completely in the next release. For now, if in Cyrodiil, there is still a chance of hearing about what a dangerous place Morrowind has always been... Please test this and let me know! Morrowind_ob.esm v003-C is Now Obsolete. The Link has been Removed.

Downloading right now.
Downloading right now. Sadly, this came right when my free time basically ended, or I have work to do. I'll see if I can mess around with it soon, though. EDIT: Missed the files in the mirrors section of Vvardenfell Imports, so I can't do much for about half an hour.

Silt Striders
Im getting 2 destination topics in the silt striders, both functional, and some npcs in oblivion are missing their greetings and use the 'I dont know you, what do you want' instead. All dialog appears to work, just those quirks so far. Nothing problematic, so far. Been playing for about 10 minutes, and ill keep editing as I find more problems, if I find more problems.

You WILL Get Morrowind Dialog in Cyrodiil
I'm sorry, I tried to make that clear, even though the whole thing is murky. All Quests are assigned Priorities in Oblivion. Town Chatter and Beggars, for instance have Priorities from 10-13, while most Oblivion Quests have Priorities of 40-60. I have set the Priority of Morrowind to 20. That means that it WILL override town greetings and chatter in many cases in Cyrodiil. A permanent fix will come in v003-D. For now, this is functional. You are supposed to be going to Morrowind anyway!

Sottilde and Caius Coscades
Sottilde right inside the cornerclub has no eyes, and the dialog to report to Coscades does not appear, I have the package in inventory, but no way to give it to him. and as aforementioned, I am getting duplicate dialogs for the silt striders.

Thank you for the Bug Reports
I have already fixed the eyes. It looks like the Result Scripts from one or more of the Dialog Responses is not there; that's the part that moves the quests along. However, I am not seeing duplicate Silt-Strider Topics. Have you disabled all your other Morroblivion Mods. This Master Absorbs or Replaces just about all of them, including CNME, which is my guess where the duplicate topics are coming from.

CNME
That would do it. I am still using CNME, the boat in anvil didn't show up without it. Although, that may be because I had used the Object Replacer in the past, but I dont know how to undo it? I downloaded and overwrote the data folder in the main project, but it didn't seem to help. EDIT: Nvm about the boat, I see your transport mod now. And you dont have to help me with undoing the object replacers, its off topic. My apologies. I used them before your mod, so if you feel like helping, PM. Everything else seems to be functional as far as I can tell.

Recompiling
Rosenkreuz pointed out that I need to recompile a couple of responses. Give me a few minutes. I'm having lots of trouble uploading the file again. Maybe it will clear up in a little bit...

ah, ok. I also got randomly
ah, ok. I also got randomly killed by members of the council club, primarily Tedryn Brenur. Considering that could be quest related, I'm guessing its the same thing. Also, does anyone else think that silt striders should be animated to have an idle animation?

Trying to Upload Again
Just some eyes and a couple of scripts... who would have thought it would take this long. I guess it wouldn't be Morroblivion if there weren't trials along the way. I am trying the Upload Again. This usually takes 10-15 minutes if all goes well... I have no idea why you would get killed in the club, unless you made somebody mad. I don't think Idle Animations are one of the things that made it through conversion. I really don't think anybody is ever going to try to rebuild Silt-Strider Idle Animations, but you never know...

OK, File is Ready
Sorry, maybe I shouldn't try to "sneak" in a 45mb File on a Free File Hosting Site. Anyway, it seems to have uploaded cleanly this time. The link has been updated: http://www.mediafire.com/file/rxbilo0wg1xqatq/C%3A%5Cfakepat... Thank you all for the Immediate Feedback!

Silt Striders had idle
Silt Striders had idle animations? I can animate, not too well, but I'll try to dot hat next time I have free time. I wasn't in the club they were the people who hang out on the roof of the club. I was at the silt strider when I notice they made a ghost and were attacking me. I'll try again later and see if it was fixed or if I accidently knocked something over, you never know.

I will Check the Ground
I will check on the ground, but please be as specific as possible. Which "people" are randomly attacking you? Have you disabled all other MorrowOblivion Mods except Morrowind_ob.esm and MorrowOblivion_World Transport.esp? Is this a new character? Or an experienced Oblivion Characeter? Etc. We are debugging a whole bunch of new things here. Please be as specific with details as possible.

Sorry.
I believe it is the people who hang out on top of the club. I am playing an experienced oblivion character, but he is a clean character, no other mods have influenced him. Those are the only 2 checked in the data files. Although he has done very few quests, but has done a lot of dungeon diving to get to where he is. I am grabbing obmm in case my current load order manager is screwing up. EDIT: obmm made no difference, and the names of the people attacking me are: Tedryn Brenuer, Dranas Dradas. There is a guard attacking them as well, but that is likely normal.

Ground is Weird!
I cannot even fathom a guess what happened to the ground. Somehow it all got changed to grass instead of cobblestone. Oh well, I have fixed it, but am not going to try to sneak in another update! I'll save up a few... There is nobody, by default, standing on top of the club, so they all must have gone there randomly. I'll go poking around myself, but if you could give me names, that would help. It must be some Faction thing messed up. This is, actually, a big update; lots of things that have never been fully tested. Please, if you're a dungeon-goer, then visit the tombs between Sedya Neen and Balmora. Yoshimo has done wonders in them...

Tedryn Brenuer, Dranas Dradas. Digmaster, if you could confirm these names to make sure that it is the same people attacking the 2 of us?

according to the TES wiki
according to the TES wiki those two people naturally hang out on that roof. Also in every town everything is missing, including inside the cells. Just lots of water, sometimes other things are here, like plants or people, but usually its empty. It looks like the entire world was flattened.

yep. Looks like wherever there WAS cobblestone, its now grass, and nonexistent. I wonder if bethesda left behind a selfdestruct sequence.

New character, it worked
New character, it worked before this newest update, no other mods that touch morrowind (Excluding your transportation mod) are on. And yes, those were the two people who attacked me.

Wow!
When you said, "check the ground" I thought it was just a little of the wrong texture, but something is seriously messed up. It's not like that in the CS! This is kind of what happens if Morrowind_ob.esm is not loaded Immediately after Oblivon.esm, except that is worse. When that happens, ALL the ground is whacked. Unfortunately, I'm done for the evening. It'll have to wait till tomorrow... Thank you all for your input!

interfaction relations
I think its the interfaction relations Dranas Dradas is in the faction Camonna Tong, which has a -60 for the blades. It also drops it -100 for thieves guild. Tedryn Brenuer is also in the faction Comonna Tong. Do they attack you before you join the blades?!?

Disposition
ah, nope. that would do it. Disposition is just set to an extreme. Also, i found the ground, its underwater. if you swim right where the ground stops, you can see the edge, and if you swim to the bottom, then across, it teleports you back to the edge of where it should connect. i think the heightmap is royally f**ked up.

New File Addresses Missing Ground
I cannot even begin to guess what went wrong; the only thing I can figure, is that there must have been a bad Conversion to Master. I reconverted to Master and the missing Ground issues have been fixed. The Faction Relations were done intentionally; the people of Morrowind really don't like each other very much. Once an NPC decides they don't like you, then their Aggression takes over. Aggression is something we inherited from the Converter, and NPC's sometimes are too aggressive. We will review both Relations and Aggression, however, there are Thousands of NPC's to go through. This will just take some tweaking over time. I have the names of two troublemakers... A new file has been Uploaded. http://www.mediafire.com/file/3dxztm3i5a6l64y/C%3A%5Cfakepat...

just tweak the faction
just tweak the faction relations a bit instead of going through hundreds of npcs to make enemy factions fight eachother for no reason. im starting on the animated siltstrider soon, its in the creature department that too ;) for fixing missing land morroblivion_ob.esm must be loaded LAST of all masters

yeah i think so too, and the faction relations system is a bit different from morrowind, so it has to be made a bit friendlier not long ago i playtested a little, and a nord attacked a dark elf for no reason at all, they both had a disposition to eachother for -5, and both had aggression set to 40. so i lowered it to -3 and voila no sudden spree of violence

Missing meshes
Hello, everyone. I've played a bit with the last new file. I had the problem with the missing ground and this last file effectively addresses it. I think that it also solves all the problem regarding Vanilla Oblivion quests (and, in particular, Mages' Guild Quests). I guess it was a problem with the dialog, after all. The only setback is that now Morrowind is plagued with missing meshes. I mean, I find the yellow triangles everywhere. The common clothes are indeed affected (Fargoth's body is invisible, for instance), but there are many other meshes also missing. It happens primarily in Seyda Neen, but also in Balmora and Ebonheart (these are the cities I have visited so far). I always used the ESP Converter but recently I turned to the OMOD referred to in the post (because it is easier to install). But I guess this is not the problem, because the OMOD uses the default replacer. I've tried reinstalling everything but to no effect. It seems that everything else works fine.

I think that Giant Mushroom meshes are also missing in my game. Maybe I've messed something up when installing...

Addressing Missing Meshes
This Master was created with the default INI files included in the ESP Converter. If any adjustments were made to the file when you ran the converter it will lead to missing meshes. You can try the OMOD at http://morroblivionfull.blogspot.com/, or probably the best thing is to rerun the converter using just the Default INI Files. There are NO missing meshes in my game. If there are just a few, you can also make a list of them and I will try to put together a download that includes missing meshes and textures. However, to do this I need VERY specific lists. Try downloading FormIDfinder from Nexus. That should help in identifying misshing meshes.

Caius Coscades
The previous problem was fixed, but he now refuses to give me orders. I get the journal update "I have given Caius Cosades the package of documents.(etc. etc.)" but if you ask about orders, he doesn't know what you're talking about, and when I spoke to him again, he acted like I haven't given him the package.

You need to be at least 4th Level before Caius will continue the Quest with you. You cannot just rush through this quest with a new character.

I'm level 15... I brought in an existing character. Perhaps the game thinks I'm level 1 because I haven't gained 4 levels with the mod on? And shouldn't i still get the 200 'drakes'(gold)?

In morrowind I believe that
In morrowind I believe that you could just ask him again and he'd be fine if you were below level 4. In any event, might as well make that more obvious.

Main Quest Needs Debugging
Sorry, you are correct. I went in to take a look after the last post, and there is nothing blocking Caius from saying "What ae you talking about." He will currently say this every time you talk to him after giving him the package. The Main Quest is going to need some Debugging. I have not had a chance to speak with Yoshimo after getting this released, but I presume he will want to start on debugging this pretty quickly.

Okay.
Ive played around with the construction set, but don't know anything complex, the most I've done is fixed up the dremora armors, making them playable and having the correct icons and such. So playtesting and bug reporting is probably the best I can help.

Any Help is Needed
As you can see if you take a look around, a lot of help is needed all over the place. There are things like grass poking up through the street in Balmora, misplaced objects, and Townsfolk with aggression set higher than 10. You don't need to be an expert to help. Please visit my thread about Requesting Help and talk about what you intend to do so that somebody else does not get the same idea. Yoshimo has posted what he is doing on his Market Research thread.

I Saw
I read that thread, but saw little i knew how to do. All I know are items, and those seem to be done. I would need a bit of handholding to do anything else, and if someone knows enough to teach me, then it'd probably be better for them to do it themself. Not to mention I'm still on a high school schedule(senior year) But, this is getting offtopic, So to get back on topic, should I be testing this with a new character, or is it okay if i bring in my level 15? EDIT: Also, I did post on that thread, I can work on the economy. Could I get Sot's mod, so I can scale the gold to the armor values?

Working Toward v003-D
OK, my Permanent Compatibility Fix between Morrowind and Cyrodiil seems to be working well. I just ran around Anvil extensively, and did the entire Anvil Mages' Guild Quest, and not a single line of Morrowind Dialog. Then I went back to Morrowind, and not a single line of Cyrodiil Dialog. If in your travels you encounter either in the other's Realm, please jot down exactly what was said and I will take care of anything I missed! Factions have been tweaked a little, mostly toned down from the -60/-100, except if you join one of the Vampire or 6th House Clans! I was not attacked by anybody in Balmora. But, then again, I am an exceptionally likable person :) Tomorrow I will debug the very first part of the Main Quest, I intend to go up to Caius sending you out for the first mission, but no farther. I want to get v004 out as soon as possible. In the meantime, please visit some of the caves and tombs between Sedya Neen and Balmora. Tell us what you think!

I can also verify this. With
I can also verify the hostile behaviour of 2 Council Club members. With the latest version of Morroblivion (v0.16) I also encountered similar behaviour. EDIT: Just noticed this thread was in the 'Mods' section. My issue with Dranas and Tedryn are with the unmodded version of Morroblivion v0.16. Yet I did not see them attacking me, but whilst walking around Balmora a guard suddenly unsheathed his weapon and dashed of towards the Silt Strider area. I followed but got stuck in some lag-loading. Once the lag was gone I found the guard fighting Dranas Dradas in the open area close to the shops and Mageguild. Once Dranas was dead, the guard rushed off to the roof of the Council Club and proceeded to kill Tedryn Brenur. When both were dead, the guard stood there; eyeing me through his bonemold helmet. So apparently there seems to be some issue with either their disposition towards me, or to the guards. When I popped into the Corner Club, nobody made any apparent efforts to kill me. The first guy inside the club just looked at me.

Guards
The guards are reacting to the two of them attacking you for no good reason other than they don't like you; that would count as murder, so the guard is more or less reacting properly. Hatred among the NPC's in Morrowind is not as much the issue as their aggression. In Oblivion, even an aggression as "low" as 15 will cause an NPC to possibly attack you on sight if their disposition toward you is at or near zero. What factions do you belong to? Unfortunately, NPC Aggression is a very tedious and time consuming thing to fix. If you'd like to help, this would be a great place to start... v016, by the way, is Definitely NOT "Un-Modded."

Didn't belong to any
Didn't belong to any factions yet. I just recently arrived by taking the Silt Strider out of Seyda Neen and was selling some stuff to the guy across from the mages guild and some sugar to the Khajiit (with the 'Daedric weapons' on the opposite side). As to the 'modded/unmodded' maybe I should have explained simply that I was using the latest downloadable build ;) In regards to helping out, I fear that my knowledge of aggression levels and the like is limited at best and it has been some time that I've touched the Oblivion CS (didn't do much with it after releasing Mannimarco Revisited) :P
