Post CAPCHAs

I've noticed when I post from a computer I haven't posted from before that I get two sets of CAPCHAs, one that's a reCAPCHA and then after I hit save it gives a red warning-like message saying word verification is needed, at which point I need to answer another CAPCHA. It seems this is a little excessive, as surely a bot would be able to answer the second CAPCHA if it could answer the first.

Also, when I hit preview it seems to always give a message of "CAPCHA session reuse attack detected."

Shouldn't these two things be changed?

You should only get only one

You should only get only one Captcha after each time you login.  Unfortunately, the "reuse session" error has started happening, and you get two.

I have been trying to figure out why the "CAPTCHA session reuse attack detected" started happening on all of my Drupal sites.  It's annoying.  I updated the captcha modules just now so maybe that will help.  I'm not the only one having this problem but no one has made a patch for this version of Drupal yet.

The sad reality is that this site will experience an ungodly amount of spam if I disable all of the captcha's.  I wish it wasn't the case, but it is.

There are bots everywhere.

There are bots everywhere. Being on the internet and not getting spammed by webcrawling (meaning they follow links) spambots is like taking a blindfolded stroll in Morrowind without getting assaulted by Cliff Racers and other animals while continuously casting AOE frenzy creature spells in random directions.

Ok well then why don't we

Ok well then why don't we just require a captcha to log in for the first time in that day or until you logout and that's it?
