Okay, so this is not a real Skywind problem since I haven't installed the mod yet nor any mod at all for Morrowind although I do have some for Skyrim and none for Oblivion. Anyhow, I bought a legal copy off Steam and installed it properly along with the patches. I thought since I am gonna play Skywind that I might as well try out the original game first while waiting for Skywind to download since it took a while on my PC. However, whenever I try to launch Morrowind I get this strange error:
Too many font textures for Data Files\Fonts\century_gothic_font_regular.fnt.
Max textures is 8 yours has 1043021373.
I know my way around the computer but I am not familiar with this lingo. It's not a Skywind problem so I know I shouldn't be posting it here but no one else is helping me anywhere else on the Morrowind forums in the Nexus. So I was wondering if Skywind will still work or if it requires a working copy of Morrowind in order to play.
I didn't download a cracked version. I bought if off Steam and this saddens me since it's freaking 2013!!! And yet there are still bugs and glitches in such an old game that should be patched already. I bought the Game of the Year version with the DLC's. Is there an unofficial patch I can download that will fix it? Or will Skywind run anyway? Or how else can I fix this?
