Imperial Interiors

Submitted by Leaf4d on

Ok I am currently working on the interiors for the imperial structures. Anyway, before i started doing the modeling for the meshes i thought i would do a quick design diagram to show you all the direction i want to take the visual style of the imperial interiors.

As you can see above I am not going for anything too radically different from what the original meshes are. However I will be trying to make them look a bit more run down and old. They always seem to clean for my liking in morrowind so that is the primary change that I am making. I will also be changing out the square pillars of the original for circular as i think they look better.

Any feedback would be great! And hopefully I will have some WIP images sometime next week.

Cheers,

Leaf4d

Reminds me of forts in Oblivion, which is good since they are imperial.

Make sure that your model sizes (or is it called pivot?) match the existing ones perfectly.

I think it's a great idea to make Imperial interiors less perfect than in the original, but my advice is to keep in mind that Vvardenfell first opened to the empire for settlement 13 year prior to the start of the game (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Third_Era#3E_414).  With that in mind, the Imperial settlements are actually quite new.

Keep up the great work!

I was under the impression that the forts in oblivion were akaviri not imperial.

Who cares?

Everyone who ever played Oblivion knows them as "imperial". Go search google for "oblivion imperial forts" and you'll see, it shows the perfect association of ordinary users.
