Hey i contacted Dogtown1 the skymomod and i thought it would help the proccess of making skywind you could use some of his assets and he said this "the only thing I would ask is that you get the credits right there are other authors work in my mod and I dont want to step on any of those peoples toes so when you know what assets you want to use, let me know and I will work with you to make sure the credits are right

so if you guys can give me what assets you want i can msg him get the authors name etc. hope this helps

I don't think anything from the mod would be of use. Were there any Morrowind creatures in the mod?

im fairly sure there are some morrowind monsters in there i'll have to check but i think that adding a few creatures not in the original release wouldnt hurt there are also meshes and textures that arent bethesda made that could help

The Daedroth and the Hunger are of use to us. The Ascended Sleeper might be good too. Not sure of anything else.

most of these creatures are stolen from witcher 2, we cant use them, and the poster should have known about this

Not most of them, some of them. Not that they'd be good for use even if they weren't though.

I've said it many times, but I really don't like, and was never impressed by this mod :/

They are either ripped from other games, or are shoddily mix and matched parts from various creatures.

I even don't like the Daedroth, because I take one look at it and the first thought that pops into my head is "mix and matched Dragon with Werewolf skeleton"

Original models only in my opinion.

I agree with SheepDogWoof. most the time in monster mods they just mix and match in game stuff. We should have good quality stuff for our mod.

Well, it'd work for a placeholder until we get a suitable, properly made model.

Well on skynexus at least i don't think I've seen any creature overhault (new creatures) that can be consider worthy. As principle it is fine but the models and animation are low quality. I assume that mostly they use an existing ingame skeleton and add some animal parts / new parts with some retextures but the overall effect is of low quality. There are some exception maybe like the dwemer dragon which is indeed out of the box thinking. You can find nice new textures for existing creatures but no more than that... I mean it's not easy to make smth new from scratch: mesh, skeleton, animation and textures. Takes a lot of work and the author has to be proficient in all aspects.

I am not really sure how the project is divided here on skywind since i didn't keep track of the progress, but it would be nice if it weren't one man job.... but more people each very good at smth.

Didn't waste our time, good to know people are watching out for stuff like this. Monster mod doesn't have anything suitable, but keep an eye out for other mods in the future.
