Okay Marco, if you really want to help with modeling creatures your first need to acquire Zbrush, that costs around 700 bucks. Next you will need to actually learn how to use Zbrush (remember this program requires commitment to learn) a program called sculptris can help you learn modeling fundamentals. Once you have an understanding of Zbrush and you can give us examples of your work then you can claim a modeling job.
P.S This Mod project requires hard work and dedication; if you think your up to the task that's great, but if you have doubts you are welcome to continue posting on this forum as long as you follow the rules.
Well I assumed he just wanted to use Zbrush because hes been asking for "a free Zbrush"
Well, there are ways of getting a free zbrush, but I doubt the other members of the forum would be very happy if I posted how to. =p
i would summon fire and brimstone upon you if you did :P
Warning: high levels of grumpiness incoming.
Zbrush is the easiest part of character art these days, thanks to dynamesh. You just create a blob, stretch it into shape, and add detail.
Here's the problem.
More and more zbrush models (large files) are backing up and it requires others to turn 10 million polygon blobs into working game characters.
This means:
Decimation for reference
lowpoly retoplogy in 3dsmax (or blender if u can)
UV mapping
baking hipoly model to low poly normal, diffuse maps.
Creating lovely textures with photoshop.
RIgging.
This doesn't include the tricky part where we cant make new creatures yet, we have to match them to old creatures and use their animations/skeletons.
Wouldn't you rather learn 3dsmax/blender?
Even better would be for you to experiment with the process of altering creatures in skyrim so u can rig better and use nifskope.
Ravanna
lowpoly retoplogy in 3dsmax (or blender if u can)
Well blender does have toplogy its a new feature they just came out with, and blender accepts one of sculptrises formats so it should work (Unless zbrush doesn't have the format that sculptris uses then you can forget what I said :) ).
well i do have blender but all the tutoriels are to fast don't know what buttons to press and stuff but I made some things with it don't know what use they have tho its like a practice
I'll join Ravanna on the grumpiness, although the efforts of sculpting creatures are fun to watch and I'm sure fun to do, the reality at the this stage is that they are really no more than 3D art. We really need people to transition these into game models, and unless people can step up and do this that none of the models will make it into the game, which is of course the whole point of it.

^This. From my limited experience, starting your way around modelling with creatures or armour is the HARDEST thing you can do, because it requires VERY DEEP understanding of the modelling and animation process. I'm not discouraging you from this, I'm just saying that you need to be prepared to learn A LOT of things and do them on your own before the models see the light of Tamriel.
While not as glamorous, I think people who are new to modelling should start the learning with static meshes - wells, rocks, buildings, etc. When you have an understanding of how low-poly modelling is done, you can move to more complex things.
