Like Bone Lords
Yoshimo is going to be thrilled with this one. He had to use zombies for Bone Lords in tombs.

Bonnelord is supposed to
Bonnelord is supposed to disappear when you kill it ... it only requires one block of havok on the remains (skull?) to make it lootable. Try having a look at some wraiths in original oblivion.

Ghosts, Not Wraiths
I am sure that it is Ghosts you need to look at, Not Wraiths. Wraiths leave behind substantial corpses and cause a cloud of smoke. Ghosts are the ones that just leave a puddle of Ectoplasm. That is probably done by the Death Anim you had talked about before.

@eloth: No idea However If
@eloth: No idea :p However If you have made it lootable then maybe it can do for the time being ... i'll ask around and get back to you as soon I find a way. @David Budreck: The bonelord leaves its skull and arms... not ectoplasm. Anyways ghosts and wraiths both have essentially the same mechanism. The 'after-death' piece (ectoplasm or folded cloak) is part of the skeleton and hidden inside the original body. When the creature dies the original body turns invisible and the other mesh (folded cloak or ectoplasm) falls to the ground and becomes visible. To add to the visuals a particle system is employed to spray particles.

Sorry Hashmi
I'm sorry Hashmi, I had no idea, obviously. The explanation is facinating; it is amazing how involved everything is.

Floating Pieces
It looks like you have a new file already. My report might be outdated. There are a couple of floating pieces in mid-air by the bone lord's upper left arm. Other than that, it is working great and has been inserted into the file to be merged with the Morrowind_ob.esm project.

My First Bone Lord
I ran into my first Bone Lord while tracking down the Sixth House Base. NOW I understand why Zombies were such a poor substitute... :) Thank You Eloth for this conversion! Thank You Yoshimo for introducing it into the Game!

Bonewalkers
I believe Bonewalkers are still Zombies, yes. I have run into several of them and was disappointed

Alright so I am finished
Alright so I am finished improving the Bonelord's body. I've only touched the robe and hood because i thought that the bones look alright in low-poly. Also moved the position of the skull a little to fix some clipping issues that arose when the hood was smoothed. Here is the body.nif file: http://www.mediafire.com/?2rsaazgk092xghc As usual haven't tested it in the game so you might want to try it out and tell me if there are any problems.

Subtle
I can't see any difference between the new model and the old model but maybe something will become apparent with further testing. The big problem with Bone Lords as I see it is the floating pieces of bone mid-air to the left side of the Bone Lord. I think there is one levitating fragment of white stuff per arm.

The new model is supposed to
The new model is supposed to be a bit smoother and organic ... as compared to the origial blocky mesh. Especially it should look better on the edges. However if there isn't a noticeable visual improvement then you shouldn't repalce it ... all it will do is use up more resources.
