the first part on the stronghold won't update, i got the papers from ebonheart and the two grand soul gems and gave it to Llunela Hleran and she accepted them, but it's been 8 game weeks and still no quest update, when i go to her to talk about the stronghold she just says "construction on your stronghold will begin soon". please help!
ok, so it updated the quest when i went to jail, but now it won't update anymore. it said to check the ork who was building the home, and report back to Hleran.
i waited about 10 days, then stole somthing to go to jail, but nothing has happened please help.

okay so .. i realise this is an old post.. but this is the only place i've even found acknowledgement of this bug.. and while Dave B is clearly an experienced scripter...i have read many hundreds of lines of patch notes involving ''Fixed Rare instance of..''...and i have Just started playing morrowind again.. and found this Exact bug with construction on stage one telvanni never completing in there.. and im wondering how i could fix it myself.. since i have the construction kit..now i know this is definately broken and im not sure how.. because i made save a few days after i started this quest.. and accidentally made a second save later down the line.. and after i noticed the construction was tkaing a while.. i sat in an inn and spent 20 in game days resting 24 hours at a time.. an it still has not completed .. so any help would be appreciated thanks :)
Its not controlled by wait,have you done all Quests for other Mouths and Masters i have not done it in V058 yet worked in V054 through to V057 by doing the other Mouths and Masters Quests
i think i'm yet to finish the last few quests for the masters, but other than that im pretty sure im done. I've been keeping track of my progress on paper lol old habits die hard.. i have Neloth, Dratha and Theranas respective quests to Finish first then all i have left is the stronghold and the last 3 quests in becoming archmagister.. Kill Raynasa Rethan:, Kill Banden Indarys: and Archmagister Gothren.. and then i have nothing left.. if you think finishing those will sort me out ill give it a go. Annoyingly advancing quest journal text using console commands to set it to being first stage complete.. where im supposed to be right now.. doesnt work.. won't actually advance the quest.. just puts the journal entry in.. so none of the npcs will talk about the stronghold now and its still a seedlike bulb after 56 days lol.
What is the last stage of your "Stronghold" quest?
it won't get to the last stage its stuck on the first..thats the problem lol
update:- ive now completed all the mouth and masters quests the next quest i should get from Aryon should be to kill Reynasa Rethan but i cant get the quest from him untill my stronghold first stage completes.. which is still bugging out over 60 days in game since the journal entry when i was told itd be ready in a week lol once again any help appreciated im stuck on this house now ...
I meant the quest stage in the journal (the text).
Also, type the following in console:
set sleep to fbmwHTStronghold.BuildProgress

set sleep to GameDaysPassed
and post here the results.
Started doing Telvanni Mages Guild yesterday have done Coded Message,Cure Blight,Daedra Skin,Sload Soap,Staff of Silver Dawn,Three Quest for Baladas,Mission to Nchuleft,Muck,Black Jinx,Dwemer Books,Mudan-Mul Egg Mine, Wizard Spells,Odirnirnan, Mages Guild Monopoly, Just come up Llunela Hleran asked me to Speak to Gashnak gra-Mughol the Foreman in Charge of Bulding My Stronghold, have a Quest in my Listing for Master Aryon to got to Shishi, has been 6 game days all seem to be advancing right so far still have a lot Quests to catch up to you
If anything seems to be Advancing a bit quick,still have 1 Mouths quests to do yet and have not done any of the Masters Quest

my latest entry.. says 5 Sun's Dusk (day 83) ''Misstress Therana scolded me for bringing her Auriel's bow and then gave me 5000 gold if i promised to leave''..i know you didn't need that but since i cant post you those since set sleep isn't working i thought id show you how long its been lol :) .

That's strange... Do you have the latest version of Oblivion (1.2.0.416) with Shivering Isles?

At this point you should go back to Llunela Hleran to inform her about progress.
Up to the Stage ( The first Stage of My Stronghold Should be Complete Today) now Aryon Tells me about looking for a Mouth,I was not shore about Mouth comming up Before the First Stage is Completed on Stronghold,,Have been going back and forwards to see Aryon to keep asking about Mouth Nothing Came up till First Stage should be Completed Today
Something not right if you have Mouth before the first stage is completed,,

.. qwerty.. did you fail to read my first post? im not playing Morroblivion dude.. im using patched n overhauled3.0'd version of Morrowind Theoriginal Morrowind... and This is the ONLY place in the WHOLE internet that some guy poor old Cadbury flake up there.. has come across the same bug as me.. and Noone Else Anywhere accepts its a bug.. so No i dont have the latest patched version of oblivion ... this bug is still present though.. and clearly its origin is Morrowinds code and not Oblivions. because this moroblivion player has come across it after all those patches and stuff and ive come across the same thing.. Still Unfixed.. on the vanilla morrowind game, so sorry for rabbiting like an insane monkey but. I'm still thankful for any help you can give me regarding this issue since you guys are all experienced debuggers i just want to fix this bug and finish my house Telvanni storyline :)
okay i have no idea about when the Mouth Should have been done.. but i was given that quest at the same time as the stronghold and since it was a shorter quest completed it first.. my journal goes like this.. 9 heartfire ( day 25) master aryon thanked me fore ending the siege on shishi. 9 heartfire (day25) in order to become master in house telvanni i must find and recruit a mouth to represent me in the council. 9 heartfire (day25) Llunela Hleran told me that in order to build my stronghold, i must get a construction..blah blah blah.. 17 heartfire (day33) now that i have a mouth to represent me, master aryon promoted me to master in house telvanni.(Okay i did not realise i had been promoted to master already thats strange. :/ now i see this is the same Telvani master bug everyones on about) 18 heartfire (day 34) llunela Hleran accpeted the construction contract and soulgems with strong souls. she said she would give the orders for construction. 23 heartfire (day 39) i should speak with llunela hleran about my stronghold. 23 heartfire (day 39) llunela helran asked me to speak to gashnak gra-mughol, (insert tower location). 23 heartfire (day 39) gashnak gra-mughol asured me that the tower was growing well and should be ready to occupy within a week.
could i try forcing myself Down a rank do you think? might that jog the game back into the proper working of things?
Wait, what? You posted here about the bug in the original game?
I'm afraid I can't help you with that. Morroblivion may look like the original, but it's very different in internal aspects.
Your best bet is to post it on some forums about original Morrowind (Bethsoft's official forums for example)
As above you get Quest to improve guards for Stronghold Talk to Ljunela Hleran to continue Quest
Not to much different to Morrowind dont remember it being a bug a lot of the time people were missing Quest Stages

I finished my Telvanni stronghold but inside the tower there is 1 only container near beds =I
Is it normal or I need more updates?
Stronghold construction has 3 stages. On 2nd stage you get access to "Lower Tower" and on 3rd - to "Upper Tower@ and "Basement" areas. Furniture and other details in interiors don't change with updates. Hope that answers your question.

During Telvanni house quests i stuck on the problems like Aveacupoftea (master aryon says that i need the mouth in council. when i ask about mouth he sayed that i need to build stronghold. Llunela Hleran from saidrith mora says that building coming soon). From upper post i set in console:

I suppose i have a glitch. As i understand for the first phase of building need 41 days. and the days passed is 44. and nothing happening with building of stronghold. I'm sure that i did all other quest of all other mouth. i think may be Llunela Hleran suggest to buy 2 grand gem soul from here and that is the reason?(we can buy it at anytime at 3000 drakes over and over again [External image]). may be need to get the gem and capture soul by myself? Someone get any suggestions? sorry about my english i try mybest

Bummer man, I had a similar problem with the Hlaalu stronghold. You could use the appropriate code to advance the quest, but I don't know the console code. I'm pretty sure one of the head guys around here does though.
