So far:

KAGOUTI, Almost done, but want to learn some more before I deem it "finished"

CLANNFEAR, redone, the previous version was the first Zbrush project I ever did, and it is rather unprofessional, and sloppily done. The only reason it came out so well was because of all the tips and suggestions from you guys. I think this one looks MUCH more like the original.. It is still only 25% complete I would say though.

DREUGH, recently completely redone from scratch. The first was good, but again, a lot of things that could have been done quicker, and better. None of the tentacles were symmetrical and the shape of the arms was totally wrong.

Here is the new version. Also unfinished like everything in this thread xD

OGRIM

YAGRUM BAGARN

ALIT

SLAUGHTERFISH

Guar will be started soon.

stijmunkeyWe are going to have to try and get a custom skele

do you have a way to edit the source code?

GendunDrup

One issue is the question of which skeleton is this going to be hooked to? The only creature I see this fitting to is the Seeker.

As far as I've seen, We have no solution right now.

But obviously Skywind will be going for a long while, I think its safe to say we'll eventually find a work around and a way to make custom skeletons and animations.

For now seeker would work. Four arms and tentacles. I'm not sure if that could ever happen without the source code.

I'm not sure about the custom skele I know alexanderb was able to make one but it don't think he ever got it in game, as for the anims I know we can get custom ones and I'm pretty sure get them in game it's the behavior files (the stuff that activates the new anims) that I think are the trouble those are the ones heavily based on script and codes

You thought that was just a drawing?

No, my profile picture is a portrait of my actual face, drawn by the wonderful and talented Josie.

I think you're making the association because he hasn't finished painting the eyes yet. For example, the deepsea fish known as the angler fish has similar eyes.

Lots of real life problems at the moment ):

Recently moved, and hardly have enough money to eat, the life of the starving artist >_>

Its not as serious as that made it sound^ but I don't have much time right now.

But don't expect me to disappear, as soon as I have the time, I will use that time to continue doing what I love :p

Good to hear an update, and we wish the best for you. Don't make this a priority ya know. Seems a lot of people are experiencing things, so just hang in there :D

Well my only tips then Sheepdog, is buy rolled oats, make your own bread, and go vegetarian (meat is expensive).

Been on the "bread line" before, so understand it's not the easiest of times.

I will be back soon, I've been practicing every chance I get, and have figured out retopology, creating UV, texture, and bump maps, etc.

Here's screenshots of some random projects I did in my spare time, it shows how much I've learned about proportions and realistic anatomy

(Finished) American Bison, I really love the way the fur turned out, I will probably use the same method in the future. It is a nice game resolution fur, which I can edit the texture of in Photoshop to make it look more realistic.

(Unfinished) Alien creature completely from my imagination, I just started sculpting without any real plan. Took a little inspiration on the shape of the body from the Bison. I don't want to be uploading my personal work on the Skywind forums any more than this one time, so if you want to see it when it is finished, subscribe to my YouTube, I will make a separate series of videos titled "Random Projects and Practice" :p

Don't expect me to be back tomorrow or next week or anything, but I will be back relatively soon.

I am pretty much completely remaking everything I've done so far, texturing them, retopologizing them, and then trying to make them work in game because we don't have an easy method of rigging/animating :/

About animations, the next FNIS update will probably include creature behavior hack too, which means it will be possible to include custom animations (don't know about custom skeleton though).

@sheepdog: good to see you again :) shouldnt be too long until we have resolved the rigging/custom creature issue :)

alexb got his own made kwama model ingame and working. not using a custom skeleton though.

O: amazing, I can't wait for that. It will be GREAT for making trailers to reel more people in, so far all we have is scenic shots of people's favourite locations, if we can add in footage of fighting Morrowind creatures, especially iconic ones, it will get a lot more attention.

Plus, it goes without saying that one of the major roadblocks is actually getting custom creatures working ingame, so that will be a massive step forward.

Good to see your still advancing with learning modeling, will be keen to see how everything goes both what you do for Skywind and anything else :)

The bison look really fantastic, I'm thinking we can rig that to cow and release it as a mod for Skyrim...well just as fun of course

Reading my mind again I see....

I'm still learning more advanced texturing using photoshop, using the Bison as practice. Fur is the hardest thing to pull off.

Looks great, Just something to think about- the internal bone structure, and how it walks, like where are his knees? Apart from that it looks perfect.

You can just about see them poking out under his belly. Hard to see, but they are there.

Here is a side view.

I do like the idea of keeping the nipple ring I think its part of this guys style lol maybe instead of a nipple ring you could have like a piercing going into one of his teet flaps. He has 3 more unpierced teet flaps so he should have at least one bad boy boobie.

Don't worry I wasn't even thinking of not adding the nipple ring. it will be added soon.

Ohh thank goodness.. an Ogrim without his sexy nip jewelry is well.. um.. idk what it's like but it's not Morrowind

i think you gotta make his belly a little less saggy and his legs fatter, unless you did that on purpose that is

Yeah I changed both of those on purpose. The legs and belly are bloated to the point of ridiculousness on the original model.

This was just a funny idea I had looking at his belly.. could you use what ever they use in the jiggly hooters mods and apply it to his gut?

Lol I wish, but getting custom creature models working ingame alone is hard enough.
