ABCs for Barbarians

I've been frustrated since I haven't been able to find a way to help with Skywind, but this is right up my alley. It's late where I live but I'll get cracking on these sketches tomorrow! (I know, I know, most people volunteer and then never come back)

@Ellagne  Great! I'm impatient to see your sketches. Also, and I don't really know what I'm talking about but there should probably be some transparency in the pics so that they can match on any paper texture..

I also have this Nerevarine image I made a little while ago, but I can't think of anywhere it could actually go (and it was made as a banner/tapestry rather than an illustration):

@3AMt: I really like those Dwemer sphere sketches. Personally, I prefer the first one, probably because it's closer to the original.

Also, do we need to remake the Vivec/Almsivi banners and the portraits of the saints?

I just made this and I think it would work wonderfully in 36 Lessons of Vivec. I recreated a concept art of vivec fighting one of the creatures from that book.

But seriously, the Spider Daedra one would go good in Darkest Darkness because it discusses varieties of Daedra. The Shrek one is just a joke. Maybe it can be in a book in Skyblivion about OGRES.

excuse me for my English is not very good, but I do not quite understand what all of us need to draw / illustrate ... You have given in this job a list of books, links to their original sources, and apparently original sources of illustrations for in-game books, if I understand correctly... And what is required, for example, from me? I mean, I should have an example of illustration, its source, and then draw the object as it seems to me. is not it?

there's never a stupid question :)

What I posted are vanilla morrowind assets that we need to recreate. So I need artists to draw something similar so that we can add them to the books. Similar meaning that we can 1/ make them higher resolution 2/ take artistic liberties

Finally, as some of you started posting, if people are interested to illustrate more books, you can always draw something related to one of morrowind books.

Here's a question. Do you think the Dwemer had movable type? Because that might be an interesting direction to go with the text from The Egg of Time and Divine Metaphysics.

i drew them all. It's what I was doing from 2:00PM-12:00AM yesterday.

the morag tong one took the longest thought. It took over 2 hours of non stop coloring to finish
