Not perfect, but the texture blend between the 2 textures is looking much better now:

Thanks. Most of our rocks need vertex coloring painted onto them for a final beautification. The original mod ("on the rocks)" we got the rocks from used texture maps for shading, so we could do with some volunteers to do this at some stage...hands up anyone?
