i actually have no idea what i'm doing. i really want to help your project out but i would need direction,as im still new to modding. if some of the talented people here would be willing to teach me how to do some modding into your project i would be like clay in your hands. help me mold my skills and ill do my best to provide you with as much content as i possibly can. ill more than likely be doing some voice acting. but being able to help with the mod through various assignments while learning how to mod myself would be ideal.

Well, why do you want to get into modding? What interests you most?

Maybe you're asking because you are unsure at this stage. Is it creating landscapes? Bringing NPCs, quests and dialog to life? Fiddling with spells, or tweaking gameplay?

At this stage we normally get people to do nav-meshing http://morroblivion.com/forums/skyrim/skywind-development/3333

Its a good way to get into the Creation Kit and exposure to the Skywind environment. There are links to tutorials, and I always youtube a few to get me started on a new modding element.

ive always been interested in bringing stories and quests to life , i have alot of close friends who would be willing to do the voice acting ..myself included. i just need to figure out how to use the creation kit.

i got into the tutorials last year and completed most of them but they didnt cover everything. i had a hard time trying to figure out why characters and mobs wouldnt show up inside of my cells, they would show up in premade cells like taverns or citys already in game. i also had a problem navigating the world map to place an entrance to my dungeon. ( not to mention the trouble of finding the entrance piece from the outside to the inside) thats what really halted my advances, i had this huge project in mind... which i knew would take me forever as is on my own. so i was really upset when i couldn't find the answers i needed.

as for skywind, for whatever reason i get the freefalling glitch. im not sure what causes that.

so i was hoping someone on here would help me learn, and in return i could help this entire community by investing my time and newfound skills on these projects.

Well might be best if you start with nav-meshing then. This way you can get a better feel for how worlds are constructed. The nav-meshing is for interiors cells at the moment. Once you get more familiar with the creation kit then it sound like you will be interested in helping with quests :)

after a little psyching up and a little study i well ready to attempt meshing, before that i wanted to make sure everything still ran ok from where i had it. but for whatever reason skyrim wont load on my computer anymore. ive even uninstalled it and deleted the entire folder of things associated then reinstalled. still however the game wont load.. steam just tells me that it is loading but sits there for hours without doing anything. im a little more than confused... is anyone else having this issue?

I have same issue, You need to fully load steam before starting the game.
For a strange reason I cant start the game and auto launch steam in the proces.
