boost oblivions performance?

I'm running oldblivion and still have to use console commands "TG" and "TLB" to have something remotely playable. Is there a way without changing graphics cards or altering my computer in any way so I can have better performance while playing oblivion? My specs: Intel(R) Pentium 4 CPU 3.20GHz 3.19Ghz, 0.99GB of RAM Graphics card is a Radeon 9250 (which is the reason I use oldblivion) Any help will be appreciated, Thanks!

oblivion was never designed to run on a 10 year old pc, so suck it up and ask santa to throw a new pc down the chimney. there is absolutely nothing that can help you get more fps with that setup, but there are extremly cheap pc`s today that will do the job, a second hand used pc(3 to 6 years old) will also do(with geforce 7600gt as a minimum), they are almost given away for free,
