CTD on exiting Imperial Prison Ship

Submitted by CallMeCal1987 on

I have tried everything I can think of to get this mod working, but no matter what I try, I crash to desktop on the loading screen while exiting the Imperial Prison Ship. Can somebody help me? I'm using Windows 7 32-bit, and my hardware specs are listed on my profile.

It doesn't look like your hardware would be a problem.  Do you have any other mods installed, and if so, how many?  What is your load order?

You can also try to type "coc SeydaSNeen01" from the main menu to check if this cell load. Also check some other exteriors like "cow WrldMorrowind -5,-5".

We can then see if it's a matter of cells.

Just tested 0.8 on my dekstop (win 7 32).

I also have this CTD without any obvious reason. 0,7 is running ok.

Absolutely the same version of Skyrim and Skywind is on my laptop(Win 7 64) and it works fine (even size of the folders is identycal). On my another dekstop (also win 7 32) it works great too.

It should be mentioned that I have crashes on the AMD Quad Core 3.7, CallMeCal1987 have it too.

Ballmora Cell is loading ok from Skyrim, but Crashes on the attempt to load from Morr. Seyda Neen is loading at 1 from 10 attempts. At this 1 I created a char and went to the door, but it crashed on the interior (again, on the laptop everything is brilliant)

just to eradicate any doubt about the chargen itself, did you try coc seydasneen01 from the main menu ?

causing CTD

ok so it seems it's due to graphical assets maybe (or unlikely navmesh...). For this, I can't really help :( Did you track memory usage ?

I have a suspcious that problem lies in 32 bit system and lack of RAM...

have you tried setting the textures to medium or lower in menu?

Lower textures resolution helped! thanks!=) However on medium I still have CTD pretty often =)

It could be a setting in the graphics card setting in windows, try with or without vsync or change some of the 3D settings etc.

The settings will be different depending on wether you have an nVidia or AMD/ATI card.
