Is there any sound design that needs to be done? I am an audio engineer who just graduated from school and am looking for some projects to keep me busy. I am planning on doing some voice overs, but I was wondering if there are any custom sounds needed for this project. I have experience doing sound design for film, and am interested in learning more about implementing sounds into games. I can also help out with pretty much anything related to audio such as mixing, editing, composing, etc.
Yeah we could absolutely do
Yeah we could absolutely do with some custom sounds. Need to figure out exactly what, but think in terms that original Cliffracer sounds like a drowning seagull. Sounds make all the difference to atmosphere.
I'd like people to post ideas. But I think the creature themselves need the most attention.
If you want to get started, try and check out what the creature sounds are like in Morrowind at the moment and get inspired to what we could have.
Well from some of the videos
Well from some of the videos i've seen of morroblivion/skywind I think we could use some environment sounds. like some bugs and such for the more swampy areas, and maybe some wind effects in some of the more closed canyons in the ashlands.
How would I go about
How would I go about implementing sounds I have made into the game? Is there documentation somewhere? Sorry I just heard about this project and am new. Where did you guys get the sounds that are currently in the game? Is there anyone else working on something like this?
not sure about atmospheric
not sure about atmospheric sounds i was looking into creature sounds a while back and it looks like they need their own voicetype aswell, try googling some tutorials
I think there is a sound
I think there is a sound descriptor category in the CK: http://www.creationkit.com/Sound_Descriptor
