Trueflame and Hopesfire

Submitted by ChuckBeef on

Well, I've been working on converting the Trueflame and Hopesfire remodels from the Morrowind Overhaul. Well, they work, but, on occasion, the textures won't render (e.g. imperial prison and dungeons with the same sky type). They also don't have the animations from the original models (fire & electricity effects); those were absolutely impossible to convert, due to incompatibility with nif embedded animations.

Either way, here:

I used the Trueflame nif already included with Morroblivion for collision, etc.

Edit: Also, I forgot to mention that the textures don't render while viewing the inventory, sort of like the Balmora Guard Shield; it's all black.

Missing normalmaps?

Missing normalmaps?

I thought the same thing, but they're all there. Do I need specific normalmaps/textures for them to render while viewing the inventory?

Edit: Also, if possible, would anyone be able to rebuild/build from scratch the animations for these? I'm REALLY bad at building them. Then perhaps these could be used in a release?

Not really, just need to be named same as regular texture + "_n" suffix.

Hmm. I made sure I did that. So, no problems there. Odd. The Balmora Guard shield does the same thing when viewed on the inventory player model. Perhaps it's a missing node in the nif?

Edit: Trueflame with fire (maybe too much)

Added some small effects to Hopesfire. Also converted Sunder and Keening.
