Vivec (the God)

I hope I attached these right haha and excuse my hurried photoshop skills ;P

So lately i've been working on making Vivec like characters. I have no idea if you guys can use these in anyway or not if so i'll be more than happy to contribute :] The race I used is Imperial and I had to use the "Enhanced Character Creator" mod in order to do it. The reason I chose imperial is because it really gave the look I was going for. I have multiple different versions of him so here they are :]

The eyes and gold half of his body were just edited in a photoshop knockoff ;P dunno if that can be changed through the CK or not to actually make it skin. I dunno this all may be unusable.

I did a younger more fresh version of Vivec. Very different facial features. I'll post a picture of original Vivec for comparison.

Then the second one I tried to stay as close to the original as possible. Bigger eyes, wider nose, etc.

Anyways, here is just a few of them I have made. I can work on it more and take some more screen shots if anyone would like me too.

i was thinking of doing vivec soon, though the armour/addons need a lot more concepting.

I like the body of the younger vivec, but id need to take that and hollow the chest and stomach, and accentuate the muscles.

Btw, can anyone explain what the deal is with vivec's 1/2 colour scheme?

Im not entirely sure but if I remember he was mortal at one time and known as "Vehk" at that time his skin was all one color (gold I believe) then when the chimer were turned into dark elves half of his body remained gold (chimer) and half transformed with the curse turning it dunmer. I may be completely off but it seems thats what I heard. Just found this. "As conflicting as the historical and legendary accounts may appear, there is some evidence to reveal that they are both true. Many devs and in-game books hint that Vivec was first a man (Vehk) who followed the historical origins. However, when he performed the ritual to gain powers from the heart, he and the rest of the Tribunal rewrote history such that they had long been gods before their mortal lives. Well to give my two cents, i think vivec should be more sickly and haggard though still powerful looking because not only is he losing his power he is using it all to support the ghostfence....kind of like this look

Well you may know that my favorite football team is Vivec United, which is not to be confused with Vivec City. A common mistake. Vivec United of course having the blue and gold colours on the insignia. I only wore this face paint to the games, but of course that is how I am best remembered.

Well, you know about how the Tribunal became gods using Kagrenac's tools and such? When Azura then cursed the Chimer so they became the Dunmer, Vivec's powers were enough that he stopped his transformation halfway, so now one half's still Chimer and the other half's Dunmer.

And evidently Almalexia was powerful enough to completely prevent transforming into a Dunmer, same for Sotha Sil i think.

I do agree though, his face should be much less human. He's a Chimer/Dunmer, he isn't supposed to look like a Calvin Klein model. Besides - he's thousands of years old, he shouldn't look 20, more like magically 5000.

Well keep in mind, he's also basically a god. Definitely give him an older, hard-worn appearance, after all he is straining to keep both the Ghostgate active and Baar Dau from resuming its impact, but 5000 years old is kinda pushing it :P.

I wanted to go with a much older/original concept but it seems like everywhere I looked people wanted a more younger vivec. I agree and think he should look much more ragged. I couldnt really make a ragged/worn looking character very well. Plus the dunmer and altmer have changed so much since morrowind that dunmer half of vivec looked much more human back then compared to dunmer today.

That does sound like the best idea, actually. Half of an Altmer model, half of a Dunmer model, fix the gaps so it's a smooth enough transition, and go from there.

Except half and half is what he is. It's not like the difference will be major, the Chimer looked very similar to the Aldmer (and thus the Altmer since they look the closest to the Aldmer), and as such the Dunmer do as well face structure-wise.

Hell, if there's no difference model-wise you can just work off of a single full model, but if there are differences, and i'd imagine there are maybe a couple of slight differences, it'd be better to use the two halves so you've got those minor differences in place right off the bat.
