carry forward the detail onto this concept, add more cloth pieces.

If you wish, you can texture the cloth on a seperate UV, and the other just for the skull, chest, arms and hands.

Hm, Skyrim has a ghost option that can be used for monsters and npcs. Perhaps you can use it for the Ancestral Ghost?

If you made some dunmer models, dressed them up like they from an era thousands of years ago, and made them into ghosts. It could be a very interesting take on the ancestral ghost.
