Again, Thank you Eloth!
A user reported ALWAYS crashing upon getting to Hla Oad. Now I'm trying to see if I can track down which creature is causing the CTD's. I had gotten one earler on my way to Balmora while hunting Nix-Hounds.
Now I just got one heading East from Hla Oad. I'm hoping there is a Placed Creature I can find somewere to pin it back to, rather than trying to chase down random spawnpoints...
I'm hoping that it's not, and that I can try to pin it down. You have fixed the only missing textures I have EVER seen, and there are no missing meshes... so, I'm just hoping that part is a coincidence, or that maybe I can track down which spawnpoints are most likely to cause CTD's.
They are quite common, and certainly irritating. I'd hate for you to do a Kwama Hotfix only to find out that doesn't solve it...
Unfortunately, CTD's do not appear, so far, to be caused by a placed creature, but instead by something from a spawnpoint.
Bull Netch and Betty Netch are rats, and so are Shalk.
EDIT: Sorry, I meant Bull Netch and Betty Netch are Cliffracers, not rats. Shalk are Rats.
I just cleaned out Shurdan-Raplay Egg Mine, I think, and no CTD's while inside, so that is now leading me away from Kwama Workers.
Unless, of course, something is only causing CTD's part of the time.
I've run into Kwama Foragers, Scribb, Kwama Workers, Warriors, and Queen. I cannot figure what else it could be.
Now I CTD'ed just north of what I think is Shurdan-Raplay Egg Mine, north of Rethin Manor.
This is hard. It crashes in a different place every time. When I think I've got it pinned down, then it's fine when I go back.
Yes, I saw the bridge and went over it.
When it crashed by Hla Oad I had entered town run around, then headed East. I was between Hla Oad and Rethan Manor when it crashed the first time. When I went back it crashed while heading North-East from Shurdan-Raplay Egg Mine. Then it didn't. I ran all the way to Pelagiad, then back through Seyda Neen. It just crashed again while heading northeast around the coast.
Very elusive.
I've now found somewhere it pretty much crashes every time.
Heading toward Hla Oad from Zainsipilu there is a wooden bridge. I see that, turn to the left, then CTD. Trouble is, there are about 20 spawnpoints in the area.
Will keep digging, but now that I have it narrowed down it should be easier.
EDIT. Of course, not ever time now that I've said that. But enough of the time that it has to be one of the spawnpoints nearby. Now all I have to do is figure out which creature is common there besided Cliffracers and mud crabs.
Brutal, this does not seem like random memory errors that are common to Oblivon. These have a different feel somehow. I've experienced hundreds of CTD's. Some you can tell are just random memory errors. These are definitely memory errors, but not random in the same kind of way. It's just a feeling I get, nothing scientific.

when you turn to the left after you have passed the bridge or before?
there is a shipwreck in that location, use player.coc UnexploredSShipwreckVSUpperSLevel to teleport you inside it, and then try to go outside and see if it crash.
Before I get to or cross the bridge. I believe whatever it is can be found in 0exUbittercoastUlevX0. But definitely not Scribb.
At this point, Kwama Foragers seem to be the most likely candidate.
Yeah, I could too at one time... before we added all the creatures.
My game was Remarkably stable... WAY more stable than it every is in Cyrodiil. Now I get these seemingly random CTD's, and now I can't get it to crash until I head over the bridge. Go figure.
How much running around Morrowind have you done since adding all these creatures?
Try to make a mod that changes all morrowind creatures to rats, and see how far you can run around without crashing, then you add one creature at a time to see which is at fault
Since im testing creatures im constantly running around chasing
OK, I've been able to trap it in a save that will crash for me every time. On the cliffs cut by the river, Shipwreck out of sight off to the left, bridge to the right. If I try to jump into the river it crashes every time.
So far I have not been able to move very far in any direction from by bad save. If I just stand there, something is coming and I crash. If I turn to the right or left and try to run it crashes. Try to turn around and run back the way I just came and crash. Dreug wouldn't be causing that, and the Scribb is not causing it because I can see and kill him every time.
Yes, except backwards. First I replace Kwama Forager with Rats, then move on to something else. I'm standing almost directly on top of the 0exUbittercoastUlevX0 spawnpoint that is a Multiple creature spawn, so more than likely it is something from in there, but you never know.
This is going to take all night.
I have no errors whatsoever when I open the Master :)
When I was rebuilding all the Leveled Lists from your Master I went into the Morrowind CS and duplicated them all line by line, including doubles.
So, it is identical to the Morrowind CS Bitter Coast Level 0.
Mine includes Scribb and Diseased Scribb.
So after becoming totally desperate and replacing almost every Morrowind creature with rats, it turned out to be the one creature I was positive it wasn't, Scribb.
When I preview the Scribb in the Editor Window I get the following errors:
Creatures\scrib\turnright.kf' should be a looping animation.
Creatures\scrib\TurnLeft.kf' should be a looping animation.
Creatures\scrib\handtohandturnright.kf' should be a looping animation.
Creatures\scrib\handtohandturnleft.kf' should be a looping animation.
I don't know anything about animation, but is that something I can just set to looping in Nifscope? Or does that need to be done in Blender?
Do you think these could be the problem? Obviously, Scribb do not cause problems Most of the time.
I'm sorry I trompled all over your Kagouti Thread.
The Kagouti are Wonderful! Thank you! These are probably my favorite Morrowind Creature so far, except maybe for Bone Lords, and Ogrim, and ...
