I really wanted a player house in Balmora, the one I saw had a broken link, so I present to you Balmora Riverside House. It's not over the top, just a functional house with a little style in the design. Hope you like it. If you follow the dragon, you'll find the key.

Thanks for sharing!
I've added this to our Mod List under "Player Homes" category.
Cool.
does skywind have a good player home yet i am wondering nowe ? i could always use my move bal player home but thats totaly skyrium style
This is a Morroblivion mod. For Skywind player homes you'll have to ask in Skywind section.
Going through House Mods Correcting Lighting that need Doing after Mesh Modification a Lot of the Candles are Laying on there Side This House Mod ( Alters ) Vorar Helas House Interior also Placing ( Another ) Vorar Helas in the Game
An ( .esp ) Replacer with Corrected Lighting and other Placements
I love this house! Unfortunately, there is a missing mesh on the rooftop table. I am going to install Roxon_55's fixed house and see if that fixes it also.
I have Auriel Balmora House plus BalmoraPlayerHouse on together can not find any missing Meshes on the Roof of BalmoraPlayerHouse
all standard in Game Material , not being read properly in your load order.
The missing mesh only appears intermittently. If my character approaches the front door of the house from town, no problem. But he goes out on the balcony, up on the roof, or behind the house then the WTF Missing Mesh balloon appears above the table on the roof.
I could not find where to download Auriel's Balmora house.

On the Bottom of the Page.
Thanks Roxon. I will give it a try.
Should this be at the bottom of my load order?
I run mine at the top, Should not Effect it where it is in Load Order.
I'm also getting the missing mesh problem with it placed at the bottom of my load order with a number of other Morroblivion housing mods. Will try moving it around and see if I can get that to stop popping up.
Moved the houses to the end of the morroblivion mods in my load order, still getting that missing mesh balloon. The missing mesh seems to be for that item(red/white thing) that appears slightly above the silver bowl in roxon's pic.
Tried checking the esp in TES4Edit to see if I could find anything, noticed that the esp references "MODL - Clutter\Books\morro\m\TextUNoteU01.NIF".
I don't seem to have that file in my Data folder and it also doesn't appear to be in the v064 Meshes.bsa.
So, if that thing on the table in Roxon's pic is a note, that is probably the missing mesh.
Where do I get that file?
Try replacing that string in the ESP with this one:
The original file was generated by ESPConverter and was probably replaced in the Morroblivion distribution at some point between release of this mod and Morroblivion v064. Sorry, I don't have the mod so I can't give detailed instructions on how to edit the entry in TES4Edit. An alternative would be to extract the above file out of the meshes BSA and then copy and rename it into the approrpiate place that the ESP is looking, ie:
That fixed it. Now to find the key for this place..
Ended up removing this a while ago as I did not find the key and I kept noticing guards hanging out on the roof. Anyone else have similar issues with guards and this house?
I updated the file by editing the missing Mesh path and adding the Mesh to the download. Also added the Key location at the bottom of the Description page, as a Spoiler. Credited to donAllister, fixes to Roxon_55 and fixes Acleacius. Let me know if I missed something.
Balmora Riverside House v1.2
Quorwyf, sometimes I've noticed you can use "setownership" (without quotes) on a door to prevent npcs from entering. Just click the door in console mode and enter the command.
Key is in Chest up on Landing
Ok thanks, knew it was down the steps from the roof in one of those containers. ;)
There was a WTF my Version had all the Seperate files, worked on any Version.Packaged all together Version will not Effect it anymore.
Edit Still had an Error will Fix
Oh, that's a good idea. I had the WTF too, which is why I made the update. It's not a bad little house, so I kept it.
Other Error,, This was Put Out Somewhere Around V062 what i can See going by Date on .esp.
In V062 there was a Quest 010024EF ( AAMWQ1 ) Seyda Neen...
In the House Mod Under ( Dialog Topic ) 000000C8 there was a Ref to ( 010024EF ) Seeing it was Removed Somewhere Between V062 and V064 this was Creating the Second Error..
So i Placed the Quest into Balmoraplayerhouse_correctedlighting
running in Game Looks like it was a Check Quest.
Interesting, I saw something referencing 'quest' when adding the missing paper mesh. Now seeing you find 'Seyda Neen' mentioned, I bet the key was originally placed there. It did seem a bit odd to have the key, right by the door.
Iirc, the note talk about drug dealers who were looking for the owner. I wonder if the key was found in 'skooma hut' in Seyda Neen. It probably started the quest leading you to the home, it probably wouldn't be too hard to set this up.
That was all i could find in V062.esm, Check in Morrowind.esm to see if there was anything to do with a Quest AAMWQ1.
Nice. Thanks for putting in so much work on this mod Acleacius and Roxon! I'll have to give the update one a try.

I never made it into the house so I don't know if the guards enter, but i'll use that command anyway just to make sure.
The main thing I was noticing was guards sitting on the roof at various times. I found it doubly odd as the guards were Imperials wearing Morro Imperial Guard armor instead of the Hlaalu stuff you would expect in Balmora. All the other Balmora guards were wearing the right stuff.
NP, I like this and Ariel's. Lol, that is pretty weird. ;)
FYI, I haven't had any problems with npcs guards or otherwise, getting in or on the home. They just sort of try to walk into the side of the building for about 5 seconds, then reposition and try again about 3 times, then leave. donAllister might have had more luck putting this at the other side and end of the river. Near the Slith Rider, there doesn't seem to be any traffic.
Got into the house this time. I don't think I noticed that small chest last time around. I like it, but i'm wondering if its possible to remove the hammock from the house. Would this be something I could do with TES4Edit or does it require something else?
Go into Game Use ~ Click all items to do with Hammock Write them Down, then go into TES4Edit and Remove them save and Exit.
Type the Number in Left Hand Panel Press Enter will Take You Straight There.
I'm sure you could remove it with TES4Edit if you want. The easiest thing you could do, would be stand in front of the hammok. Then open the console, click the hammok, then type disable .
Edit: Heh, roxon_55 beat me too it. ;)
Using Disable can Cause Hic Ups.
Leaves an Entry in Your Save File that Could End Up Creating an ( F Up ) Save File..
I mucked around in TES4Edit a bit earlier and found then deleted the entry for just the hammock. Is that going to cause a problem? Does it affect the save at all?
Doing it in TES4Edit Should not Effect your Save.
The only reason i have not been running this, for some Reason it Place another copy of Vorar Helas and his House in the Game need someone who Knows more to have Look to See Why
Thanks for the disable, tip.
Wow seriously, where did it create a new Vorar Helas and House or is that what your trying to find? I had to clean this, 23 ITM, iirc. I wonder, he used Vorar Helas's house to copy.
Could you have a ghost (undeleted or something) with it, uncleaned?
Load balmoraplayerhouse in to TES4Edit Cell ( Block,0 ) (Sub-Block,7 ) is not Overwriting any Morrowind_ob.esm so dont Know
I saw that entry as well. I didn't run around to see if there was a 2nd Vorar house though. I guess I can check that out later.

I did some editing to this, cleaning up unused content and so on. I deleted the copy of Vovor's house, the dialog lists, the NPC that isn't placed, changed the doors back to just being called doors, and I changed the flags on the interior so it's no longer considered public (though I don't think that had a major effect). I also double-checked all of the new items, and the models all seem to be in meshes bsa already, so no errors hopefully. I've had none in the past couple days I've been playing with it. Modified from the version uploaded by Acleacius.
