Im sure this has probably been mentioned before but i tried to install Morroblivion but im getting nowhere and was hoping you guys could help.
When i load up oblivion and start a new game i get the emperors speech at the start and then a character creation screen with a yellow background after this i just fall through the floor of the ship.
You may need to refresh your installers. Right click and select refresh on the installers screen. It can take a while.
And make sure you use BOSS to sort your load order, such that Morrowind_ob.esm loads just after Oblivion.esm
Whats BOSS? I do use OMM to set the load order but there was stuff missing i only saw morrowind.esm. I also dont see a refresh button on the wyre installers tab

Better Oblivion Sorting Software. This is the standard utility to sort your mod load order.

That said, BOSS would not recognize many of the Morroblivion mods here. You should manually sort them after the Morrowind_ob.esp

Going by qwertyasdfgh Installation file you need to activate the mods in WB
Right click open .txt in New Window.

I had the same problem. Installed everything, after emperor bit character screen came up yellow background then falling.
Here is the problem-
the main file, the big 2gb one need to have the 'core' folder contents copied and pasted to the oblivion folder, NOT the data folder. ALL the other folders go to the data folder. So i extracted the whole thing to oblivion/data, then went to that folder and opened the 'core' folder, highlighted everything, then deleted the 'core' folder. I then pasted its contents to the oblivion folder.
I manually installed everything, then used OBMM to see the load order and that the morrowind esm AND esp files were there. The esp file wont be there if you put the core folder into the data folder.
then everything worked now i have played a couple of hours. annoying thing is no quest marker, not sure if the levelling is working system is working right, and dont have any lockpicks. but it is working.
PROBLEM with This INSTALLATION the ( .BSA ) Files NEED to be IN Oblivion\DATA Directory or the Game WILL not WORK (OBMM ) READS the DATA Directory Not the OBLIVION Directory For ( .esp,,.esm,, .bsa ) OBMM will Come Up Blank If the files are Not In Data directory
I'm encountering the exact same problem, but instead a gray screen. The Emporer video starts after creating a New Game, but character creation has a gray screen and same applies for the prisonship. Correct dialogue and movement is possible, but no visuals..?
I've tried the installation twice today and checked the load order. Tried the suggestions from anithinks and victorianguy but without succes. I've installed the Morroblivion v060 (and resources), OBSE and I am using Wrye Bash 304 with BOSS.
Any suggestions to help me out are appreciated greatly!
ps. I have managed to access the inventory screen, Oblivion specific visuals seem to work, the map locates me to a point near Skingrad. The title however, still says 'Prison Ship'.

Are all Files Coming up in WB in Load Order (.esp ,,.esm ) Files
Map Still comes up you are in Skingrad cause you have not Entered the World Space of Morrowind Yet.
As soon as you Exit to the Top Deck of the Prison Ship you are in Morrowind World Space, Morrowind Map Works Showing you are in Morrowind.
Did you try installing oblivion?
Thanks for your help, load order however didn't solve the problem. Here's my load order in WB:
Boss should be Reading your Oblivion Directory Not Morrowind..
When you have run the Installer it is the last time it Reads Morrowind..
Try Deactivate all the DLC and Knights of the Nine,, are all files coming up under WB in Load Order

I already tried disabling all the Oblivion DLC, same problem. Emperor speech video and Character creation in gray screen followed by no visuals.
all files are coming up in Load Order, checked via 'sort by' menu.
How do I set up the directory in BOSS? Installation showed no option for this and I can;t find a manual way for it.

Move your 2gig file to a Safe Place,, Un_Install everything,,
Before Re_installing go to User\User Name\Documents ( My Documents)\My Games \Oblivion\ and Delete Oblivion.ini then Re_install Oblivion,,DLCShivering Isles,,Unofficial Service Pack and WB,OBSE Run your Game to Make Shore it Works First..

I have put both the hotfix
I have put both the hotfix and the 2gb file into Oblivion mods --> Bash Installers but on the installers tab on Wyre they dont show up, both files havent been extracted at all.
