Spectral Enemies

Submitted by Wolfe on

so in morrowind and oblivon you had a good many spectral enemies (ghosts and such) basically anything that required a silver or daedric weapon to finish off, but you didn't have these enemies in skyrim

what's the plan for spectral enemies in skywind??

no improvements planned as of yet?

that looks great!

so when you encounter a spectral enemy in a tomb (or dwarven ruins like in morrowind) they'll just be fought like a regular enemy??

well if i remember correctly, you need silver or magical weapon in Morrowind and (it was long time ago though so correct me if I'm wrong) and i think its the best way to set it in Skywind :)

you're right that's how it was in morrowind and i'd like to see that return to skywind

but the question is, is that something that needs to be taken are of in V1.0 or is that something less important for later patches?

I'm not the one who decides on anything here, but if i understand how it goes here - since it's not an improvement of any sort - just a thing from originall Morrowind that needs to be ported correctly - i would say its something that needs to be finished till V1.0 is done. Remember that we are still on alpha stage though, so it might take a while.

Ummm, are you asking if like Scamps will be immune to normal weapons? If so, umm, I don't see why not? It's not exactly hard to do, you just create a constant effect spell that gives 100% resistance to normal weapons, and just give it to the Scamp.

not mentioning scamps at all, talking about enemies of the Ghost family
