try to make glass parts a seperate model. because then we can apply certain effects to only glass parts.

Yeah kura the shape is good but try separating the glass and metal parts, we'll work our texture magic later.

Simply brilliant! Good job so far!

Is it just me or are the gloves a much lighter shade of green than the rest of the armor?

its fine. once we get our effects on it. it wont be noticable.

Being that the glass armor was my favorite in Morrowind, my standards were pretty high for this but... wow.

I think the rock areas could be a little more pronounced on the armor like they are on the mask, if only to make it seem a little more natural and give an even more ashland/robust feel to the set. The stomach area feels particularly thin, like the gems could fall out of their sockets given too much pressure.

My hat to you, Mr. Kurasaki. Anything I will say at this point will be nitpick but take it as you will; you've done a great job.

It looks really good but I feel like the cloth around his waist could be a bit longer and looser :) just my 5 cents

its a little late in this part of production to mention waist area. you want to mention that when he getting ready to texture.

It looks perfect to me! Get that in game as soon as possible, I love it.

I love this armor model. I know the textures are probably not near finished, but this looks at tad vibrant currently. My personal opinion would also be to darken the cloth bits to grey in order to really give it that ashlander feel. We already have Bonemold, Chitin and Netch in shades of brown and gold and I feel that glass would sport black/grey shades much better ;)

mehh textures can be edited later, rav will have to do some work in order to get it perfect so just give us some time to correct everything.

Hmm. It looks amazing. But leggings could use some more "pointy" edges.

I love the new daedric armor but the mask/helmet it's amazing, it looks so realistic! it really cathes those demonic faces from morrowind

Beautiful, have to say that with every armor you do, it's like you exceed yourself every single time :) !

Kurasaki I think someone else was making daedric armour? I may be wrong though

Strange.  When I download the files and try to open them in 3ds MAX, I get a "couldn't open file" error.  Anyone know why?

I think it would look better if the pauldrons were a bit bigger, like the original Morrowind Daedric armor. Maybe it's just personal opinion, but those pauldrons are for me the most iconic part of MW's Daedric set. Also, the spiky parts of this armor need to be more spiky, especially around the legs.

You are right. Who better to make the competition.

You are right. Who better to make the competition.

Yes you are correct, I've loved your armour so far so I'm looking forward to what you come up with.

hi long time lurker, first time poster here.

i think it would be great to have both armours. kurasakis buyable and smithable armour. And the other one only obtainable through killing dremora lords. this little tweak would make the hunt for dremora pretty thrilling and rewarding. in respect to balancing you should only be able to get one armour part from on dremora. Just my two cents but since you two already started and put good work in it i think this would be a pretty cool solution.

Welcome and thanks for the suggestion, but i don't really agree ;) So yeah - thats that.

Well I get what you are saying but in my opinion it was important - and for a reason, that you actually couldn't obtain the whole set. Or at least it was super hard and you had to have a solid plan and know the games mechanics really good to obtain it. In my opinion it would be great if it stayed that way. This is actually beeing a whole different subject, but i think Daedric gear -if craftable - should be REALLY, REALLY hard to do (obtaining materials - that is). Also - I'm afraid we WILL have to choose, or at least heavy adjust one to another. The situation where we have for example dreamora that looks TOTALLY different (meaning style etc) than guy in daedric armour which is supposed to be made from dreamora parts - well.. that would be a no go if you ask me.

Also - i wouldn't worry about hunting the dreamora - im pretty sure that it will still be worth it for soulgems, weapons and for the simple fact that you are there, on Vvardenfell, kicking some dreamora asses like a baws :)

E: Ofcourse that is only my point of view so yeah ;)

you have a good point. i would love to see skywind be a overall harder game than skyrim.

from a lore point of view it could make sense if they'd look different since the armour worn by the player and npcs are crafted by smithing ebony an then putting a daedric heart into the fire. the other one is grown on the skin of dremora. And imagine divayth fyr having the collectable one and you'd immediately know -- this badass went to the realms of oblivion...but thats just me beeing crazysmiley

Whatever you do i will love it and i really wished that i could help but my pc already has troubles running the original morrowind.

I have nothing to do with deciding if its a good idea or not since i'm in no way one of the leaders of the project (or anything close to that) - so treat it like the opinion of another member :) You are indeed right that they COULD look different with that explanation, still the morrowind daedric set was basicly a dreamora without insides ;) Well i would imagine that there are different ways to create daedric armor and the morrowind one would have more to do with telvanni and other mages doing their tricks to transform dreamora body to an armour while the skyrim one is made the way you described it. [Wait.. does my mumbo jumbo mke sense at all?] Well after all you have a valid point, but i still think they would look a bit out of place.

Daedric gear will be craftable only after completeing really difficult quests, that will incorporate finding long lost pieces of lore about the crafting of that armour, and crafting it will require Daedric Rituals (binding Daedra's soul and forging it into the ebony). Of course all that only avaliable after getting to smithing level 100, so it will be an extreme toil to craft one, pretty much as hard as finding all the pieces.

And I also don't think we should be able to skin Dremora. Dremora armour is a product of their own bodies, permanently attached to it, that is except for Dremora Lords who can wear real Daedric Armour which would also make them extremely tough.

"Me gusta"? Hehehe. Nice work, but you may want to flip the cloth's texture. All of the letters are backwards. :P

EDIT: Except the M and the T

I'm thinking that maybe the cloth would look good if it was ripped and frayed at the bottom? Great work so far though kura :)

Amazing!  I'd love to see what you would do with the other deadric helms.  Low priority though obviously.

This is great! I can't wait to see how the different helms will look :)

Looks pretty awesome, but the texture could be better. It's very monotone. I think the metal texture should be based on Skyrim's Daedric Armor - different shades of black/gray and more metallic.

Oh my god... I don't have words for this... This is what sets the standard. The only concern I have is the use of lighting in game... It would make this look a lot worse than it actually is. Who's doing weathers for the other regions, lol :P

nice!!!! :D

love it but are u gone make the other 2 helmets and the shoulder pats the got in morrowind those realy stand out

This is a very nice addition to the armor.

It pulls it away from conventional armors as we would understand it but it adds a lot of personality to the daedric set, and sort of echoes of the barbaric way in which it has to be forged.

I like the idea that the red light shines through the cracks and jewels of the armor - the legs especially. There are some areas where it looks a little random however, the shoulder pads and the forehead between the two horns in particular.

Красный свет хорош.

Это здорово, на ногах.

Это выглядит странно на плечах и на лбу между рогов.

;)
