Unable to play Skywind :(

Submitted by jspjspjsp on

Hi everyone, I'm having some problems getting Skywind to work.

I was originally having problems with the installer, where I would get an error message in Russian when it was about 90% completed. I uninstalled and re-installed Skyrim and Morrowind, which seemed to sort out the problems with the installer. The correct data files appear in Skyrim but I'm not presented with the choice of starting Skywind upon beginning a new game. I tried cow wrldmorrowind 5,5 but that didn't work either. I've also tried dragging and dropping the files into my 'data' folder manually, and then using the installer, but this hasn't made any difference either!

I'm not sure what's up with this as I got earlier versions of Skywind working fine. I have non-steam versions of both games and I'm currently running Windows 8.1 64-bit.

If anyone could help with this, then that would be great :)

Pretty much what Drakonman said. If you're gonna pirate a game, don't expect any support and definitely don't expect to be able to do anything other than play the vanilla game with it.

This thread is amusing. Anyway, I personally don't give a shit if someone pirates or not, but most around here don't like pirates, and prefer not to help them. So, I'll just close this.
