Adding a bevel and stuff is sort of defeating the purpose, it's meant to look clean. I'm starting to think this was based on my You Tube layout, lol.

What about this. Too complex? Some graphic elements would look cool.

The depth of field is pretty cool but yeah it looks a bit too cluttered with that border. Without the border it'd probably look a lot better.

I did a little relief thingy that describes the Nerevarine story. Loosely.

Stop me if i'm being nosey too. 

I actually really like the stamp/seal thingie.

Yeah and the lighter border looks a lot better!

Maybe some more dwemer'ish border? Although with time i'm pretty sure dwemers wont be that important. But our projects could be like something made by dwemers ;)

Also - i still think it should be either TES:Renewal Project - in Iniquity's style - simple and a bit "modern" looking OR The Elder Scrolls: Renewal - written more like one of the titles, with more "immersive" background and such - then robbins idea is looking great. But hey - it seems it's only me.

I like the border and stamp, maybe do a version where the TES: Renewal Project title is the second version you had for it? 

ooo i lke the Dwarven idea alot! Initially i was going for a Art Nouveau/William Morris mix (is vaguely apparent), but considering that the sorry of morrowind does center around ancient dwarven themes, i dwarven would be more appropriate. If you guys also like the logo thing i did, then i'll vector that bastard up.

I'm also thinking of maybe turning the deisgn to make it look like it was inked on paper. Heres a WIP of a map i'm doing: http://morroblivion.com/files/Balmora_map.png. However i get the feeling that your going for a clean, minimalist design. Like the skyrim UI yeah?

I also think that a dwarven theme for the project would be wicked!

Also, does anyone get a star wars vibe from the logo that inquinity did? If you all like it tho, then i'll be happy to throw it in. After all this IS inquinity's thread :)

Another idea, the new logo design behind Tamriel, thoughts?

Edit: Two more variations:

I like the second one, would be best for using as logo.

I reckon try separating the map from behind the text. 

If this is going to be a logo, and we end up using it to stamp concept art and such, then we will need it to be as clear as possible. For example, if the map in the background ONLY works in a midtone grey, and it has to be placed over an image that itself is midtone grey, then that element of the logo is lost. 

All successful logos follow some basic principals: they never use photos or photo textures, They work in just black and white -no greyscale, are readable in both extremely large and small sizes, and they are simple!

But with theory aside, i really like the tamriel idea. Might do something of my own...

I really like the stamp one, but I have to agree with happychappy.

I'm not to precious about my work :) I'm all for getting the best result possible, and the map idea looks great

yeah that is exactly what i meant. But don't worry about my rant, i was just being picky and i think the map looks fine :)

Hmmm, does look a bit Star Wars with that outer white line. Maybe try another font?

alright, good to know i got it right, that was a quick version i threw together to see if that was what you meant, if you still want me to make a more refined version of that logo let me know and I will fix it up tomorow.

I will play around with the fonts tomorrow to see if i can find something else that will look good and not give off a "Star Wars esque" vibe and make everything a bit more refined.

In regards to the map being unclear, should i try separating each province so that it will be a more clear representation of Tamriel?
