In my game it would appear that the Bonemold Cuirass seems to have some odd texture related issue; resulting in 'spikes' of black and purple shooting out from the back of a female character when worn. This does not appear to affect male npc's wearing the armor, but my own character (a custom Mystic Elf) as well as Eydis Fire-eye are enveloped by the graphical glitches.
Not sure if this issue is caused by the custom race as I never had any issues while wearing armor (including modded ones). I do use both a male and female body replacer (probably Robert's) as well as "_Ren_BeautyPack_full" (can't recall the version though).
If needs be I can supply some screenshots of this occurence.
Sorry if this has already been mentioned (just tried Morroblivion today and just registered) ;)

Thanks, I did test all the archives prior to extracting them; but it could be that something went wrong during the transition of meshes and textures to my game directory. I'll download the Vvardenfell Import files again and see if this fixes the issue :)
Also, here are a few images of the issue. The fun thing is that it's pretty erratic and sometimes doesn't even show up initially; or just flares out in a random pattern :P

Downloaded everything for Vvardenfell Imports but no dice. Cuirass still seems to have the same issues.
Can't check further atm as now I'm getting constant black-screens a second after loading my saves. Oh well... :(
At least I got the eyecandy of Seyda Neen and a tiny portion of Balmora, good enough to get that great Morrowind feel back. So thanks :)
dad you find a fix?
Im having the same issues, and its driving me nuts, mine are a slightly different color tho.
Bonemold
This has got to be one of two things, either a corrupt mesh, or some obscure conflict.
The Bonemole meshes are not originally from Vvardenfell Imports; he used them with permission, so other copies of them do exist. If you have downloaded the converter, or if you download the OMOD, there are copies of (most pieces of) Bonemold armor in:
\meshes\GhogelsArmor\Bonemold
Try replacing \meshes\Vvardenfellarmormod\bonemold with the Ghogels meshes.
The OMOD can be downloaded from here: http://morroblivionfull.blogspot.com/
thank you!
i downloaded the omod, took out the textures and meshes, places the textures in Data\Textures\armor\ghogielsarmor,
and then replaced the meshes bonemold meshes that where already there. It worked like a charm.
I would say that means there may be something wrong with meshes released with the non-omod version. Just a thought tho.
Nothing Wrong
No, there is nothing globally wrong with Bonemold from Vvardenfell Imports. It works fine for me and for most others.
There was something corrupt in your download.
As far as I am aware, only two people of the hundreds that have downloaded Vvardenfell Imports have had trouble. Now there is a proven way to fix it so that is great.
i redownloaded several times
but i understand that not everything will get overwritten by re-downloading, i would like to try and figure out what it is that causes data to not be over written. Is it possible that the mesh was altered in anyways when it it was put into this release? I know the texture locations where different, but that's all i found off about them. Also i noticed that if you replace the female meshes with male ones, the problem persists. So it doesn't really look like it was the meshes themselves. it is confusing to say the least.
I'm having a similar
I'm having a similar problem. its the only bug to report in my case that's actually a problem, but it serves as a major annoyance. I will try the fix that was posted here, but this issue apparently is more common than thought. I actually logged onto the forums today to report this issue, only to found it had already been reported by users recently.
if you can't get it to work
i can try to walk you through it a little more in depth, just ask
(sorry for the response
(sorry for the response after such a long time) any more detail on the fix would be appreciated. I have yet to actually use an OMOD format before, and know nothing about extracting files from it without actually placing them in my oblivion directory. (and even then, I still wouldn't know)
Bonemold Armor Replacer Now Available
There is a link to Bonemold Replacers at the bottom of my Main Project Release Thread.
