Original Morrowind Content

I was wondering how much of the original Morrowind content you are trying to preserve. I ask this because in two of the stumps near the Seedya Neen Lighthouse there were items found in them. Neither stump had these items present. Was this content intentionally removed, or was it something that just didn't convert?

My Guess

I believe that the goal is to preserve as much of the original content as possible; it is most likely that those stumps were overlooked. That's just my guess though.
