Hlaalu Grandmaster to Hlaalu Hortator issue [v0.62]

Actually I am Grandmaster of Hlaalu (Orvas Dren is dead), Hortator of Telvani and Redoran, and Nerevarine of all of ashlanders. The problem is Crasius Curio doesn't make me a Hortator of Hlaalu, just give me his vote and send me to the other councillors. I cannot speak with them about "Hlaalu Hortator" because there is no proper dialogue line, just only "Hortator's duty". So that make me main quest unavailable to push it forward [External image].

Does anyone know's how to fix it by console command?

Thanks sphanlon, I have missed that topic. Perhaps that is the solution, but I don't know how to restart quest stage, I don't know what exactly to type into the console. Could anyone give me a hand please?

So what did you have to do? I was confused by roxon_55's topic. It just sounds like they talked to Nibani and then to Nileno, as they had done already.

Need to type in console: setstage fbmwMQHlaalu 50

where 50 is a stage index of quest complete: "Crasius Curio gave me the Belt of Hortator [...]" etc

The best solution for the future is to download TES4Edit to check up quest's ID's and need to learn what to do witch Oblivion console: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Console

Oh I thought you were able to do it without that. I've had to do that before. Usually the quest id is the same as it is in Morrowind proper, except you put fbmw as a prefix and eliminate any underscores.

I see, but probably I had no choice, only console could help imho. Except Curio, any of Hlaalu councilors couldn't talk with me about Hortator [External image]

I could not get the Hlaalu

I could not get the Hlaalu Hortator quest to advance. I guessed that my problem stemmed from having previously killed Orvas Dren when I went to kill the Ienith brothers for the Thieves' Guild. I sacked the house at Dren plantation and picked up his copy of the Yellow Book of 3E 427. More likely Dren's death moved the quest up too far, but the book might also have glitched the quest.

I put my character into the Wayback Machine and did the Hlaalu Hortator quest before the Ienith bros., and got it finished.
