We really need somebody to piece all the modular pieces together, so we would be super appreciative if you stick with this task and get the buildings coming to life. I'll assign you a 100 karma points if you do ;-)
Man, these are going to look so good! Hlaalu buildings are among some of the most important things we need done and you guys are doing an absolutely sublime job, keep up the amazing work!
Windows finished.
The extruding part can be added over a wall, but the underneath wall must be modelled to accomodate it uf u want to use the surround broken wall alpha.
I do not leave a job half finished... I will keep on working to achieve the best styled buildings and art assets. The modeling bar is very high. Now have a lot of motivation to keep on trudging through.
Mazam1212 its up to you how you want to make the buildings, I think its just the door frames that need to be used from Ravanna FBX. The textures are the key components.
Obviously it would have saved time, and to be fair its not exactly cut up into modular pieces in a clear and concise way, so creating you own from scratch might be easier for you anyway.
Ultimately its you who has to make all the variation of building structures, so you might as well as much fun with it as possible, and creating you own models will be part of that.
Here are the original TRI counts. So just be mindful that cities are prone to performance bottlenecks. NPCs number have a big reason for this. Normally I'd recommend 50%-200% more than originals, but I'm sure if you stuck with no more than 400% we can keep things in check.
Here is your new tower model. Please forgive me but I am terrible at materials and have yet to add them. 3ds max material system still throws me for a loop. Here is the a link to the model.
I like it a lot

Here is an idea for the tower wall
looking good, we were thinking of making balmora bigger, with taller walls, these would be good as corner towers :)

Rav, u are awesome...
Tower design
ok so that piece can double as a standalone outer wall tower, or a 3rd floor extention for housing.
I apologize for not adding it on to the stuff that you already made.

also about how many tris can i play with on these buildings?
for the pure model (before we duplicate sides/walls and make overlay alphas) the utter limit I would say is 10k triangles.

I am moving on now from the tower and off to cooler buildings.
Perfect. You don't need to put the physical doors in, just have the frames, as these are added through the editor rather thatn on the model.
Lots of karma going your way and just keep at it, lots of buildings to replace, phew.
Upload the model and we can get it game ready. Might as well to this on the go.
