Redoran Hortator bug? | Morroblivion

I completed the rescue of Varvur Sarethi.

Athyn Sarethi, agreed to give me his vote for hortator, but there seems to be a blank diagolue box that appears towards the end of his speech. Like a line of text or a choice is missing.(Not sure if its related..)

Afterwards, I visited all the redoran Councilors. None of them gave me a vote of support.Though all the relevant quest log entries updated. Saying each one would consult or consider my claims.. I'm unable to advance beyond that point.

I returned to Athyn, to try and gain more information about Miner Acrobar. He is supposed to trigger

I've been unable to advance or gain the support of anyone else. No new diagloue options are appearing eith

I'm running V027

but It doesn't update.

I ran into this problem too. The solution is that you need increase their disposition to you. All of the ones who say they need to think about it, anyway.

Yeah having a high personality score goes a LONG way in Morrowind... can anyone else confirm that this is or is not a bug?

It's hard to say because he talked in generalities, like "none of them gave me their vote," rather than something I can look up. The dialog box at the end of his speech sounds like the quest updating. Talking to Athryn Sarethi about Miner Arobar doesn't "trigger" anything. If Miner Arobar says "consider and consult," then that is definitately because his disposition is too low. This is not a bug.
