In the quest you have to drown yourself so that the path to the Dremora opens. It does open however, you are stuck and even tcl code can not save you. However using tcl code to reach the dremora before the drowning lets you get past there.

I have never played this quest, so you need to be specific. Stuck where? Stuck how? Based on the information you supplied, the only thing I could do is go try it myself and see what happens. I will not be in a postion to do that for quite a while, but at some point I certainly will.

In pilgrimage of Seven Graces quests you have to pray at all seven ofthe shrines. This one is under the Vivec's palace. In that room, you should get to the shrine which is higher than you. And even if you can levitate, a wall(ghostfence like- halfopacity) block your path.

In this pilgrimage quest you have to show your courage. You drown yourself under the sea, before your health goes zero(like10-20), a script comes in, and it changes the room. It lifts the wall, creates a road to reach the shrine and places you to the start of it..

After the script gets in and you are teleported out of the water, to the start of the bridge, you can not move. You are simply stuck. You can't even rotate the camera...

OK, there are a lot of things going on in here, but nothing is conspicuously wrong that I can see. This one may have to wait until I can try it. However, can you describe to me the exact series of events? Do you touch the shrine? What happens? There are several message boxes and Quest updates going on, and right now the only thing I can think of is that one of these is getting in the way of somethng else. This reminds me of an Oblivon bug I encounter from time to time. If I cast a spell and open a door together, and do this at just the wrong time, I go through the door but my character gets "stuck" in the way it sounds like you are describing. Nobody on Nexus was able to tell me why or how to fix. I believe this happens when two game animation sequences conflict with each other, but again NOBODY was able to answer me. So, until I can get to this, I would need the EXACT sequence of events to try to piece this one together.

Okay let me remember, this should be it.

Go to Vive Palace-Enter Level Three-Enter the shrine-Drown yourself till your life gets ten-Find yourself on the platform-(after this point these are the thing should happen, however I couldn't do it, as I was stuck on the platform))Move through the bridge-Give dremora a silver longsword-Pray at the Shrine-Get a cool note.

So another pilgrimage completed.

Still it can be done without drowning yourself. If you use tcl console dode, and fly through the wall, you can still give dremora the longsword, and do your praying.

Actually, this is now reminding me more of a different bug I have seen. Sometimes, when under water and then trying to go through a door that takes me above water, I have gotten stuck in the under-water player animation and then can't do anything. Because your character is under water, if this is the problem, then I have NO idea how I could get around it.

There are two things I can think of.

a)Can you make a script of something that pushes you out of water? If you can do that, after the moment it pushes you out you are free of that animation.

B)This is the test of courage. I know it may mean changing the all nature of this quest, and Morrowind's shape; but can you make a circle of fire, and same script gets in just before you die from the fire?

There is no "push" out of water. There is a force push spell in SI, but I don't think that could be used here. A circle of fire would be way too different than water; everybody would hate it because it's not lore, but I am certainly open to less radical suggestions. I CANNOT lower the level of the water in Oblivion. I might be able to raise something underneath the player, but by the time it got the player out of the water, the player would have drowned several times over. Do you have a save game from BEFORE you entered the Puzzel Canal? Can you try going through it again from BEFORE you entered any of the cells? Maybe this is just a bad save and the next time you won't have the problem. I cannot reliably duplicate the coming-out-of-water bug I described; it has only happened a couple of times, so I'm guessing maybe you weren't lucky and got a bad save.

I don'T but I can always start a new game. However not right now, my Desktop computer is held captive by my big brother which has Oblivion in it, and I am wiritng these from my petty Netbook.

Though I tried it few times by reloading but never actully closed and opened the game.

I'm going to close this issue until it can be tested or reverified by somebody. I think you ran into an Oblivion game bug, not a Morrowind Quest bug.

The quest notes about this quest suggest you should cast a spell to move.

Same here. Workaround is to wear clothes with water walking and water breathing (maybe just one of them) when reentering the room (after teleporting to the temple first)
