Soul Gem and Arcane Enchanter overhaul

Submitted by °†°Death°†° on

Soul gems are not what they used to be, originally in Morrowind when you captured a soul the creature or persons name would be attached to the gem, this does not happen anymore instead the gem only reads petty, lesser, common, greater, grand, taking away from the experience of collecting souls. I would like to see the old way return along with the original grand soul gems, which looked much more 'Grand' than their Oblivion and Skyrim counterparts.

Also I have an idea for a new system of enchanting called soul gem stacking, instead of being limited to the use of one gem you could use multiple gems of varying power depending on your level. It would be great if you could enlist the help of allies for all types of crafting allowing items of greater power to be created.

One last thing, the look and function of the arcane enchanter should vary depending where you are, Daedric enchanters should differ from Divine enchanters for example.

Well, Thank you for reading this.

This is a project for the modding community. While it may sound intriguing, I should point out that the people here came to create an old game that influenced us throughout our years. That is the project nothing more. If you insist in bringing an idea like this to this website, (which if implemented would delay the project) please do so when the game is near completion. This could take years. If you do not have the patience, you can always learn to script and model this idea yourself, or try to convince an outside modder. I hope this does not seem rude, however, ideas such as this and other suggestions come in quite often. Many ideas and requests, without very much detail or help from whoever suggested the concept. Just my two cents, others may feel differently. Do not feel discouraged because of my impatience. [External image]

Alright, I apologize for wasting time. Thanks for the link, I will continue to direct others here instead of trying to suggest ideas that have no relevance here.
