So after that fun little incident in chat and seeing a increasing amount of things such as "n" bombs being dropped, etc I'm of the belief we need a late night mod to help with chat.
Normally you couldn't get me to volunteer for such work as I hate babysitting but I don't think there's another user as civil and firm on that late with enough tenure to demonstrate they're a "productive" member.
You should mod me and I could look after the chart later at night or if not then find someone who's trust worthy and has a good temperament because it's needed.

this is reason number 32 why I never visit 'chat' ... leave the snot-nosed adolescents alone so they don't bother the grownups.
I think we should just do away with public chat. It serves no useful function to the project. I have yet to hear, "Man, the greatest and most useful idea just came out of public chat!" It's just a place where people go to act stupid and behave poorly. Maybe if people didn't have it, they might do some useful work for a change.
I just swore grossly in chat and so did MdarkbladeM and I am a moderator. What now? you're gonna ban me? and i swore in Norwegian and he did in Finnish... my point is, nigger means absolutely NOTHING to most people here. It would be unfair to most people on here if you are going to pay extra attention to the language that YOU speak. I have a solution for you... stop caring. It doesn't affect you, it doesn't affect me and it doesn't affect anyone who doesn't let it. If someone has a problem with the use of words, then that is their problem.
If hate is directed towards people, that is a different matter entirely... and all you have to do is tell a mod. there is always one online.
