Im having an issue with the mages guild, at first any lenth of time spent in the balmora chapterhouse caused the game to crash. i belive i have that problem fixed with a mod loader but now when i attempt to buy spells from npcs within the guild the game imediately crashes. im not sure if the problems are related, i was able to buy spells from the trade house in sedeya neen the crash only seems to happen in the mages guild so far.

the OBSE version is the latest one i found, the only mod i have installed that DIDINT come from a link on this site is unnessesary violence 3. i have most of the mods from the list of mods on the morroblivion page including oblivionized enchants. i dont think the two are conflicting but i will attempt to run the game with out unnessesary violence to see if that changes anything

also. the problem only seems to affect the mages guild balmora is the only chapter house i have been to. il test the other chapter houses to see if the problem also occurs there, then any "freelance" spell seller i can find.

Did you read the descriptions of the mods you installed? I can already tell you that you're not supposed to use 'Oblivionized Enchchants' with UCWUS (which comes with the main download).

i can confirm that the bug is affecting the entire mages guild and ONLY the mages guild, freelance spell sellers like arielle are unaffected
also i have noticed that some members of the guild have spells for sale when (to my possobly flawed recolection) in the original game those members did not sell spells mabey there is a connection?
as it sounds like nobody else is having this problem iv decided to wipe my local files redownload the game redownload moroblivion and obse with no mods to see if the problem persist.

i did not realize UCWUS came with the main download. however unticking oblivionized enchants did not solve the problem. i am moving forward with redownloading the files

Also Delete your Oblivion.ini before setting up a New Game in Case Oblivioninzed Enchants\Unnessesary Voilence write entries into the ( .ini ) that do not get Removed with Removing them.

I deleted the entire oblivion folder for good measure. =) i didnt care to much for unv3 any way. what it did was cool. but it seemed a little unsteady even in my oblivion play thoughs.

Are you running the latest version of Oblivion with OBSE? Do you use any other mods?
