WOOD ELF VOICE AUDITIONS

Male Bosmer Voicetype

Fargoth

Aengoth the Jewler

I wasn't quite sure what you guys are looking for in the Wood Elves, so I originally just went with what I heard in TESO. I'm willing to try anything you suggest though. [External image]

First time really trying this. I'm honestly not applying for any particular character, as the excel sheet and I don't get along, so consider this applying for whatever you think I might fit. I just grabbed lines to read. (And I am reposting this for each race I'm applying for.)

Here is my audition for the Wood Elf race. I read for Fargoth to test out this voice, also because he's possibly the most despised character in the entire Elder Scrolls universe. It was fun to do. I made the voice a bit obnoxious because that's how I see Fargoth.

I'm not necessarily auditioning for Fargoth, I'm just showcasing the Bosmer voice I can do. This is the same with my other auditions for other races. If you like it, I'd be glad to read for other Bosmer characters that are available.

I went ahead and decided to do a Bosmer before bed. I thought it'd be kinda fun, and this one was more fun than I expected, actually!

Hey, figured I'd give the VO a shot when I saw the latest dev video, let me know if you can use this. I'm also open to give any other sorts of characters a shot if you had one in mind.

My closest version of a Bosmer from the original Morrowind.

@Strykerking

I will keep this short because there are a few things that need to be improved before we can consider it. Lighter and brighter is the key for Bosmer. Audition again but lighter in pitch and slightly nasaly. Good luck!

@EthanAhlin36

That is pretty much dead on as far as the voice is concerned :) The sound quality needs to be cleared up but I would say that is what we are looking for :) Well done. Once we are ready to record, we will definitely come back to you for a bosmer or two.

2 Wood Elves:

Baradras and Nedhelas

I'd very much like to present you my audition for any Bosmer character available in the game.

The dialog comes from Alveleg, a toad of the Thieves Guild.

Cheerio.

EDIT: re-recorded files farther down the thread.

My Wood Elf voice, real quick and dirty this one. Let me know if I should dial the nerdy/whining back a bit.

I've just made an audition for the slave trader Brallion.

It's a little rough I know but If I'm chosen Ill definitely smooth out my slurs, and pronunciations, or the slight accent if necessary.

This is my wood Elf audition, it starts off with the friendly greetings, to normal, to unfriendly, with a tad of combat dialog at the end.

Hello Smitehammer,

Here's a re-recording with much higher quality. (Amazing what a new Blue Snowball can do.)

если хочешь, я могу писать лучше качество=) и пока что-то вроде этого), я был бы очень благодарен за оценку моего голоса :D https://soundcloud.com/leyrelka

Baradras

Here is my voice sample for Woold Elf.

Wood elf female voice sample here! I used Fara's lines, but I have no preference on parts.

An audition for New Shoes Bragor, if you hear the squeek/sliding sound, that's my mic cord, i'll work on a rememedy later. Lines were made up.

Are you still in need of female voices?

Hi, I'm new to this site!  I would LOVE to provide some voices for you guys!  I've recorded a few, and I took some lines of dialogue from Skyrim.  I had already recorded before I saw that the old hub had a list of characters and dialogue.  If this is what you are looking for in a wood elf, let me know and I will gladly record what you need!  I plan on posting to another couple of threads.

Thanks!

Bosmer using Faendal's lines from Skyrim. I change voices at the end, going to the more whiny and annoying character. Feedback appreciated.

Finally finished editing and organizing all the sound clips for the Male Bosmer Voicetype. Here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7y82tg3ikajau9z/Bosmer%20Voice%20Type%20Files%20-%20Nick%20Poling.zip

First real attempt at voice acting. I just did a few voices I can do that I thought fit in the Bosmer category: https://soundcloud.com/sideburnedbuddha/sets/bosmer-auditions-skywind

(Ignore this, sorry)

Audition using Fargoth and Thoronor dialogue. Going for the slightly kooky and somewhat normal wood elf.

Here's my go at it.

I'm auditioning for a Male Bosmer role. I used Bolrin's dialogue. I did a cheery somewhat annoying voice. Here it goes :P https://soundcloud.com/hcr321/wood-elf-audition

Hello :) Here's some random samples; note I had far too much fun with the last one haha.

Hopefully I can hit Wood Elf on the other end, already enjoyed my Dunmer audition.

If you're still looking for some Wood Elf voices, here's a couple that I recorded.

Here is just my general voice.  I'm not trying out for anyone special.  I'm cool with whatever person you need.

Here's my Wood Elf. I can clean it up for the actual recording, but I can't turn off my extremely loud AC unit currently since it is so hot here. Used a noise removal tool, nothing more.

here is my first attempt of a voice acting, a woodelf merchant :D
hope you guys like it!

A few variations.

I have access to much better recording equipment. Also please forgive the likeliness of my incorrect pronunciation; I have never played these games....

My reading for Wood Elves! I really like enjoyed doing these, perhaps you'll be able to tell with Gaenor.

Edit: Oi vei, never attached.

This is my take on High Pockets, I aimed him in the Buscemi direction!

Whiny: Check.  Annoying: Check.

Here is my attempt at a male Wood Elf. I'm not good at the whiny type you guys are looking for, but I believe this should suffice for some of the older Wood Elves with beards and such.
