Shashpilamat is a shrine to Malacath on the Azura's Coast mainland, west of the Holamayan monastery. The exterior of the shrine is guarded by leveled daedra and an Orc barbarian. The interior of the shrine consists of two unconnected areas. The first, a small room called simply "Shashpilamat" houses an Orc worshipper by the name of Glush gro-Dul. While hostile, he will offer medium training in Acrobatics, Light Armor, and Sneak if calmed. The room also contains a few bedrolls and quite a few clutter containers, most notably two barrels of random alchemy ingredients and crates containing random beverages, scroll, or magical weapons. In the back left corner is a locked chest containing a random selection of Orcish armor.
The main shrine chamber contains two more Orc worshippers, including a warrior with a full set of Orcish armor. The altar itself holds several expensive alchemy ingredients, including a ruby, a emerald, a diamond, a piece of raw glass, a piece of raw ebony, and a daedra's heart. Also on the altar is an expensive (though cursed) fiend spear. A small side passage leads to a collapsed doorway, but also holds two locked chests, one trapped containing an assortment of gems and magical clothing and the other containing gold. On top of the chests is a scroll of shockbane and a bargain potion of shadow.

Going to claim this. navmesh it and do some moderate clutter. i have no idea how to properly save it so i'm just duplicating all the interiors into a new file and editing those until someone is able to explain how to do it properly.
k these are good now i think unless u want people camped out in these i'm not sure what clutter i'd add
First in-game screen of clutter.
Decided to give Malacath Shrines an Orc flavour due to their residence
BEFORE
AFTER
WTF is this, I'm having TR flashbacks. Is that this claim and if so will my other claims be redone without any notice? The original screen isn't even my file.
Sasquatch, I'm hopeless at drawing, so I use the Creation Kit to do "concepts" and I have been thinking of ideas for Deadric Shrines.
Just fleshing out the idea of Malacath oblivion realm of "Ashpit" which described as:
The realm mostly consists only of dust, palaces of smoke, and vaporous creatures; anguish, betrayal, and broken promises like ash fill the bitter air.
Also with the flavor of having the Orc caretakers. This is by no means a final version. I had the idea that Malacath ruins have a metallic surface, more like mirrors, to reflect the idea of ash realm that stretches on forever. So the idea was that it would literally by "Smoke and Mirrors".
Before
"Smoke and Mirrors"
Daaaaaaamn that's sexy
I think you had the right look at first. Lighting is too blown out in the back now. It'll lose some of the atmosphere the smoke was making.
I spent 2 days solid on this, so half an hour is a good start, but obviously we are looking for extreme attention to detail, if somebody has the inclination or time to flesh out ideas.
I'm looking through the merge tracker and i can only see plugins for; Maelkashishi, Ashalmimilkala, Zaintiraris, Addadshashanammu
Can you upload Shashpilamat for review please?
Carrying on with concepts the idea of having areas for fighting and practice to show strength to Malacath should be included in each shrine. Also using weaponry adornments to show the fighting spirit. Hanging skulls included to polish off the Orc vibe. Getting better with lighting.
Removed the smoke until finished, its a pain to design with it in the creation kit.
Alright changed the metal to a dark pewter (more like orc steel). Seems closer to an ash realm.
The braziers are designed to be smoke belchers.
I think my Shashpilamat is bundled with my Shrine_12 file uploaded elsewhere. Everything should be in that latest upload, but I'll have to check. There is no reason to use my file though since this is a big improvement. Once you have finished this and the daedric furn is ready I'll complete my other Malacath interiors based on your example. In the longterm I'd prefer some of the daedric ruins be enlarged, but making the interior structure more unique and impressive will require additional tileset pieces. For now I'll bring these up to standard when ready (once more assets are finished). All claims are better than what I started with and all but one already have working navmeshes if they are modified at a later date those at least should be salvaged even if the clutter and lighting is changed.
Edit: I hadnt realized that the actual daedric textures have been changed. I had assumed the white light was too bright. The change is beyond what I'm willing to deal with, so I wont be working on these if the shrine walls go chrome.
The face kind of looks like an Orc, which I think gives a good nod to Malacath's history. Personally I feel like Grumpy's interpretation of the shrine far outweighs the actual portrayal of the masks - the ashen, metallic look of the interior and the smoke absolutely sells the look. In fact the atmosphere is so spot on that I personally do not see how this could be improved besides clutter goodness.
I just assumed it was Malacath helm...oh well maybe a concept artist can come up with one please for the mighty Malacath?
Mehrunes Dagon realm is also of smoke and fire, in fact Morrowind is supposed to be a reflection of his domain. So I'd also use these special braziers in his Daedric Shrines.
I took this last group of daedric claims with the intention of getting them navmeshed and cluttered to a playable level. That has been done, and there is no shortage of interiors people to complete these. Part of my hesitation to continue has been the lack of new assets but also doubts about the quality of creative control on the project or difference in vision. For that reason I'm going to take more of a break, drop these claims, and see how the mod progresses before I make any more contributions. If Skywind resembles Morrowind and not a theme park I may pickup more claims in the future. Either way I'll be watching progress on the mod with interest and continue making the occasional post.
Lol, oh well can't please them all
Mm.
Here are the most recent files I've uploaded. They contain the work done on shrines listed in the claims sheet:
