Nchuleftingth Expedition

Submitted by rossimi on

excuse me and my poor english, but i have a problem with the mages guild duties, the nchuleftingth expedition.

when i arrive in the lower level, there isn't the Anes vendu's body and so the report that he was writing.

So i can't complete my duties.. it's only a mine problem?

if it's so, there's another way to complete this quest? so i can go on with other duties of edwinna elbert!

thanks for an answer

Not the answer you're looking for, just more information .. but -

I have the same issue but thought it was just something in one of my mods causing it.  In my game, Anes vendu is there .. just disabled. If you advance the quest or enable Anes with the console, it works.  I don't remember the questname, tho. sorry.

I think we'll all need to wait for an update.  Or, If anyone wants the fix I made for myself, please let me know. My fix just enables Anes and the report.

It looks like you need to keep talking to him until the new Anes topic comes up. You need "He was taking notes for our next excavation report" to come up. That triggers the command "setstage FBMWMGExcavation 30" The stage points to the Anes reference. However, it is at stage 1 that Anes is actually enabled. Same as the Hanging Gardens book and the map maker. So if you somehow skipped that step, I guess it is possible that he won't appear.

6 min 20 second of Nchuleftingth Expedition the Quest Up to  the end of this Stage, Works No Problems running at Wizard Level in the Mages Guild, does not Need any Fixes or Updates to Complete the Quest,, Only thing is it is a Vague when it Comes to the Lowerlevels forcing the Player to think for Them Selves.

"Only thing is it is a Vague when it Comes to the Lowerlevels"

I've noticed that morroblivion does try to be more linear and force you to 'do this before you can do that'. This , and the lack of quest markers along with not updating quests when needed or updating a quest after it's completed does make the game much more interesting to play.
