I just saw there was an introductions forum, so I thought I'd wave hello since I've been doing some writing for Skywind and may be dabbling in VA as well.
I'm a fantasy novelist (debut forthcoming from Simon & Schuster) with some published SF&F short stories and plenty of experience writing screenplays and teleplays as well (thus, dialogue). My dream is to write for a big RPG company though (or, if I win the lottery, to start my own), as games are honestly my favorite form of storytelling.
I have a tendency to work with obsessive intensity when given a deadline. I'm having a blast with Skywind so far.

Welcome Mishell :)
I'm just a lurker around here, I was considering doing some dialogue too. (I do Film & Literary Studies, seems appropriate.)
I wonder, what kind of novel have you written? :)
(setting/inspirations mostly, not asking for any big details or anything, just curious!)
Obsessive intensity can be a great trait, I wish I ever worked like that..

The one that's coming out in 2016 (yes, publishing takes forever) is an urban fantasy set in L.A.; it's got fairies in it. I'm also working on a heroic/historical fantasy set in a sort of late-Neolithic tribal society.
If anyone's super interested I sporadically maintain a twitter account @mishellbaker and a tumblr at mishell-baker.tumblr.com
Hmm, I could tell from your contributions in the idle banter project that you probably had professional writing experience. I just started writing fiction last year, and thought that Skywind was a good opportunity to practice dialog (which can be difficult for a person more used to academic writing).
Yes, practice makes perfect! So does watching a lot of good movies and TV.
Just wanted to re-hi everyone, since I've been gone so long. For good reasons - my novel contract with Simon & Schuster turned into a 3-book contract and the second book is a bit more ambitious than I was used to dealing with. Plus there has been all sorts of personal stuff eating what little free time I had. But I'm back and hoping to dabble in Skywind a bit more with a bit of writing when I have spare time. Thanks for your patience!
