I've heard all the cool kids are doin' this.
My name is Gavin Herman, though I use the username Hissara a lot. I've heard about this project recently, and it sounded so exciting that I wanted to join in on the work. I do some writing and voice acting as a hobby, and I hope to be able to use those skills here. (I already posted a short audition for Altmer voices at the audition hub.)
I first heard about The Elder Scrolls at elementary school, when one of my family's friends showed me Morrowind (He was far older than me, so he was more of a babysitter). A couple years later, I decided to purchase it because I remembered it. Due to my age, however, I didn't appreciate it. My sister, however, absolutely adored it, and I used to watch her play as she talked to me about the world. When Oblivion came out years later, I was able to appreciate the lore of the series much more and became a fan. I'm now replaying Morrowind to get more into the swing of things as an Argonian mage.
That was longer than I expected, so I'll just end this with a quick thanks to you all for working on such an amazing project.
Hi Gavin! Welcome! I'm new to the project as well. I have recently been mistaken for a thousand monkeys at a thousand typewriters. Also a long-time Elder Scrolls fan, and one of the few who doesn't strongly prefer Morrowind to Oblivion and Skyrim. I adore all three for very different reasons. Not a fan of the first two. I finally finished Arena, but Daggerfall is my nemesis and I may just give up on it.
I've been a writer for a long time. I should honestly be better at it for how long I've been doing it. But sometimes stubbornness wins out over talent. :)
I look forward to hearing your voice acting samples; that's something I really wish I had more talent in.

I've been considering recording some voices too. However, being a non-native speaker of English can make it a daunting idea. I can imagine vividly your description of not appreciating a TES game and later growing to adore it. This was the case with myself and Morrowind too.
@ Mishell: Daggerfall is an interesting one. I've never played it, only read the entirety of its storyline etc and explored its UESP wiki pages. There's something very nice about its storyline I think, but its one of those games that doesn't very well grow old I'd say.
