Morrowblivion - Buying and Selling

OK, first thing - Morrowblivion is amazing. I love Morrowind, but getting it to run isn't easy now, plus the graphics are pretty clunky these days. The amount of work that must have gone into Morrowblivion is unbelievable, and I'm astonished by just how well it runs.

So far I've only run into one issue, but it's a pretty annoying one: most of the traders won't buy or sell. When I select that option, the trader's lips move as if they're saying something, but no dialog appears and the buy/sell screen doesn't pop up. It's a real nuisance - can anyone offer a solution?

EDIT: The game also crashes periodically, apparently at random.

Do you have subtitles turned on in your game? Also some people won't trade with you unless you're in the same faction or they like you enough.

I turned the subtitles on, but there's still no dialogue. And these are just generic merchants refusing to trade with me. I can't buy new equipment or anything! Argh!

When you got of Prison Ship

When you got of Prison Ship in Morrowind you did go through the Census an Excise Office and Complete Chargen to let Morrowind know Player is in Morrowind.

Please post your load order.

Merchants will refuse to trade if their disposition is lower than 20 or if you have skooma\moon sugar in your inventory, however their dialogue should not be empty.

I highly suggest running the game with no mods (except Morroblivion) to test out if this is just a mod conflict. In addition, make sure your Morroblivion was installed correctly. Your problem is not one shared by most users on this forum, which suggest that the problem is on your end and not the mod itself.
